  1. Used now for weather prediction in BMW's but apparently does not work for that either
  2. I wonder just how many skeletons in closets he is aware of?
  3. Did anywhere actually get the summer storm? Here in Chiang Mai in my location we had a light drizzle for a short time and Doi Suthep is still missing. This morning was in Chom Tha almost at the base of Doi Inthanon, the biggest mountain in Thailand was also invisible aqi at 170.
  4. That probably means there is little or no pollution in Bangkokso all is well!
  5. To meet the current requirements a new James Bond would have to be a woman of colour with unusual leanings.
  6. In Chiang Mai summer storms normally huff and puff and not a drop falls. Badly needed to blow away this awful smog that is now hospitalizing hundreds, but apparently the governor has it in hand so all should be well! ????
  7. I guess BJ will not have too many friends. There will be a lot of pockets out of baht and that will not go down well.
  8. Being going on for years and nearly every property purchased by Chinese uses a "company" of some sort or other. But there are also many legit extensions issued for education as parents of kids attending the expensive schools.
  9. No idea. Over the past few days I have watched for free - live golf, rugby, the latest movies, new series etc all via an Android box I bought 8 years ago.
  10. Android box, add such as CinemaHD2, LiveNetTv, TVMob, Kodi watch anything you like FOC
  11. The annual disappearance of Doi Suthep is in full swing, invisible from not very far away.
  12. Currently watching The Gold Brinks Mat robbery - did not know the full story - fascinating. Better - first episode promising. And surprisingly- Wednesday (Addams family daughter)- watched the first episode today and found it enjoyable.
  13. Losing a lot of revenue I would guess then, there are other options?
  14. Massive fines of the owners of the land where the burning takes place, not just sugar cane fields.
  15. Whilst I appreciate that the forum needs to make money and that advertising is the ultimate option. But I believe this is an English forum if so why are so many of the ads in Thai?
  16. You could if you wanted to break the law as many people living over here to do to collect annual increases. Don't hear of anyone being prosecuted for doing it though?
  17. Sent mine on 8th Feb by registered post as I normally do, as above 250 baht, yet to arrive but just over 2 weeks. Yes, mine took 5 weeks to arrive from UK. 16 weeks from date on letter from the UK is the allowed timescale to be received back.
  18. "In northern Thailand, around Chiang Rai and Chang Mai, the enforcement of preventing burning off of crops appears to be working this year ---" Really?
