  1. quote "Channel your anger at the correct people". IMHO the correct people are those that choose not to use the correct channels and simply turn up. They are called illegal immigrants, which is what EVERY person who tries to enter any country without a legal entry visa is.
  2. quote *Never assume incompetence when something is adequately explained by corruption" Never assume that an allegation is a fact. https://www.google.com/search?q=allegation&rlz=1C1CHBF_enTH1026TH1026&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 al·le·ga·tion noun A claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof. "after leaving he made allegations of corruption against the company" https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=proof+meaning&sxsrf=AB5stBinLu2n1UdCsvKchowqbtXLyel_7A%3A1691551674008&source=hp&ei=uQfTZMv0N4nq-QbC9IHYDA&iflsig=AD69kcEAAAAAZNMVyphtuhkS85mxrFdPR4rW5-VNFmLb&oq=proof&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6IgVwcm9vZioCCAAyDBAjGIoFGCcYRhj5ATIOEAAYigUYsQMYgwEYkQIyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgsQLhiABBjHARjRAzIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABEjoMVAAWKsMcAB4AJABAJgB3wGgAYYHqgEFMC40LjG4AQHIAQD4AQHCAgcQIxiKBRgnwgIHEC4YigUYJ8ICCBAAGIoFGJECwgILEAAYgAQYsQMYgwHCAhEQLhiABBixAxiDARjHARjRA8ICCxAAGIoFGLEDGIMBwgIEECMYJ8ICCxAuGIAEGLEDGIMBwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAgcQABiKBRhDwgIIEC4YigUYsQPCAgcQABiABBgKwgIFEC4YgAQ&sclient=gws-wiz proof noun Evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement. "you will be asked to give proof of your identity" That is the difference between an allegation and proof. Do you have any proof of your "allegation" or am I to accept your word as "proof"?
  3. I am not sure how you reached that conclusion, but IMHO it is completely wrong. Do you have a link for that or are you expecting posters to simply accept your word? Because I did a simple search and came up with this link. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/tripling-of-fines-for-those-supporting-illegal-migrants Fines are to be more than tripled for employers and landlords who allow illegal migrants to work for them or rent their properties, in the biggest shake up of civil penalties since 2014, the Home Secretary announced today (Monday 7 August). The civil penalty for employers, which was last increased in 2014, will be raised to up to £45,000 per illegal worker for a first breach from £15,000, and up to £60,000 for repeat breaches from £20,000. and this one. https://www.gov.uk/penalties-for-employing-illegal-workers You can be sent to jail for 5 years and pay an unlimited fine if you’re found guilty of employing someone who you knew or had ‘reasonable cause to believe’ did not have the right to work in the UK. This includes, for example, if you had any reason to believe that: they did not have leave (permission) to enter or remain in the UK their leave had expired they were not allowed to do certain types of work their papers were incorrect or false. Now what employers would willingly face penalties like that? No sensible person of any political party or even the WEF, would be willing to face a penalty such as that. There is more information in the link. Now what employers would willingly face penalties like that?
  4. Travel sickness could not be an objection. How else did they get to the UK without travelling? Conscientious objectors could be trained as stretcher bearers and medical assistants. https://www.sss.gov/register/alternative-service/conscientious-objectors/#:~:text=A conscientious objector is one,of moral or religious principles. Conscientious objectors opposed to serving in the military will be placed in the Selective Service Alternative Service Program. This program attempts to match COs with local employers. Many types of jobs are available, however the job must be deemed to make a meaningful contribution to the maintenance of the national health, safety, and interest. Examples of alternative service are jobs in: conservation caring for the very young or very old education health care Length of service in the program will equal the amount of time a man would have served in the military, usually 24 months. They would also get food, accommodation, a small salary, perhaps even learn a trade. https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/richmond-castle/history-and-stories/attitudes-to-cos/ https://www.nationalww2museum.org/war/articles/conscientious-objectors-civilian-public-service Meanwhile in the UK, there are thousands of homeless British people and thousands of British families families partly or wholly dependent on food banks. They should have the highest priority for access to accommodation, food and jobs. Everybody else such as illegal immigrants which is basically what the thread is about should be much lower in the list. If this sounds racist (and it will to a lot of people) they should seriously think why many British people are suffering, whilst illegal immigrants, which is what they are, get a greater priority.
  5. I honestly have no idea. A suggestion for you though. Why don't you send them a message/email/whatever to ask the MFP/PTP what they are doing to help. It is not much use asking anybody on ANN/TVF, as I doubt any poster here has any useful knowledge of their policy, regarding what they are doing about helping out there.
  6. You claim the charges are phony yet you offer no proof of that, no links, nothing other than your unsubstantiated word. Yet you expect most people to believe you. You are all hat and no cattle, or in English, all mouth and no trousers. If you have proof then publish it complete with links. If you have NO proof why bother to post lies?
  7. I have read that some of the "asylum" seekers don't want to go there. OK by me. send them back where they came from to rebuild their own country.
  8. As they are not in power, what do you expect them to do?
  9. And a total waste of space trying to look important.
  10. I see your wife is like mine. She tells the truth because she gets out into the real world, unlike Poonpong Naiyanapakorn, director of the Commerce Ministry’s Trade Policy and Strategy Office, who wouldn't know a price rise if it smacked him in the face.
  11. Methinks that he protests too much.
  12. A normal response from a Trump supporter. An unsupported mud throwing allegation and straw clutching. It lacks the most essential item. Proof. When/if you have any proof, please post it for all the world to see. At least you will be able to back it up, something that you and other Trump supporters here, consistently fail to do.
  13. Why would she not be real? She is helping her bedridden and disabled mother in the best way she can. Good for Ploy. At least she is DOING something to help, and is not a keyboard warrior doing nothing to help anybody.
  14. 3 of them are "Fox News" which is NOT a bews channel at all. Are they where you get your 'News" frpm?
  15. Sandy If Thailand is only launching satellites it is much much cheaper to hire a launch vehicle than build a spaceport. With more expertise and training Thailand can build their own satellites and ship them to a launching site rather than building their own spaceport. This is not Thai bashing but financial commonsense.
  16. East Anglia is not much different to when I was stationed at West Raynham in the 1960s. The nearest station was in Kings Lynn, about 20 miles away by the infrequent bus service.
  17. My son is now 19. My neighbours daughter is now 18 and is 11 months younger than my son. They were in the same class together from P2 to M6 despite my son being born in 2004 and my neighbours daughter being born in 2005, 11 months later.
  18. I have thought about your post. I came up with speculation and whataboutery.
  19. How about the NASA spaceport in the USA where the moon missions took off from, the ESA site in French Guiana, the Russian or Chinese launch sites.
  20. It depends on where the railway line runs, though. I live 65 km southwest of Kamphaeng Phet. There is no western line from Bangkok. If I want to take a train to Chiang Mai, first I have to get to Nakhon Sawan 130 km to the south east to catch a train to Chiang Mai. The alternative is to drive 180 km from home via Kamphaeng Phet to either Pitchit or Phitsanulok and get the train from there. That is about half the distance from our house to Chiang Mai. There is no rail link to Tak or Mae Sot/Myanmar. OYOH if you want to travel around Bangkok you are overwhelmed with choices. https://www.thailandtrains.com/thailand-train-map/ In the link is a map of the SRT network.
  21. Do you understand what a witch hunt really is? https://www.britannica.com/topic/witch-hunt witch hunt, a series of investigations and persecutions of “witches” that occurred in Europe and the European colonies in the Americas between the 14th and 18th centuries. The term witch hunt has entered common political parlance to describe such campaigns as that of Sen. Joseph McCarthy to root out “communists” in the United States in the 1950s. The origins of witch hunts Satanism In premodern Western society the mixture of irrational fear and a persecuting mentality led to the emergence of the witch hunts. In the 11th century, attitudes toward witchcraft and sorcery began to change, a process that would radically transform the Western perception of witchcraft and associate it with heresy and the Devil. By the 14th century, fear of heresy and of Satan had added charges of diabolism to the usual indictment of witches, maleficium (malevolent sorcery). It was this combination of sorcery and its association with the Devil that made Western witchcraft unique.
  22. I am confused by your allegation of persecution. Evidence is not persecution. Facts are not persecution. Videos and claims made by Trump are not persecution. Speaking the truth is not persecution. Honesty is not persecution. So please explain clearly what you mean by persecution.
  23. AFAIK hydrogen is a renewable fuel and is ideal for ICE engines. OTOH helium is non flammable and also non renewable. Another problem with EVs is that when the time comes (as it will) to replace the battery the cost of that battery is about 50% of the price of the vehicle when it was new. You should however be able to fill the hydrogen fuel tank of your car just as you do now with gasolene, diesel and LNG/LPG which is used extensively in ICE powered vehicles nowadays. Maybe the fuel tanks have to be made stronger (that I don't know) but given the option of an EV or a hydrogen powered vehicle, I would go for hydrogen every time. This of course assumes that hydrogen refuelling stations, become more available as EV charging stations once were. Not to mention filling you fuel tank with hydrogen will be much quicker than charging your EV battery. The price of hydrogen will be high at the start and drop as more stations are built.
