MFP’s popularity rising as election looms, new poll reveals

Polls in Thailand don't mean that much. If you don't like the result of this one, just hang around, there will be more polls coming later for you to choose from. -
MFP’s popularity rising as election looms, new poll reveals
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You blame the Shinawatra family, but make no mention of the worst family of all. The military. How many coups and changes of generals has there been since 1932? This is where the current lot want to drive the country back to. -
Thailand’s tourism sector grapples with cannabis legalisation
billd766 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
AFAIK cannabis for medical use is perfectly legal. Having said that, again AFAIK, cannabis for recreational consumption is illegal. The person who should know all the answers, of course is the MoPH, Anutin, the wanna be PM. who was the person behind deregulating cannabis in the first place. And good luck to anybody who dares to ask him that question, and expects a straight and honest answer. Smoking it at home will most probably be ignored unless you are illegally growing and sell it as well. Flaunting it, and smoking it in public, is, IMHO would be a foolish thing to do, even in a hotel room and possibly in a rented apartment. -
Young boy saves coins to buy gold ring for his mother

Not really. You are just a normal Dad. My son is 18 and between M6 and Uni and does the same thing. -
No way is more superior in some ways (and maybe worse in others). But it Is an individual's choice and your way is not the same as mine or others who have contributed to the thread. We are happy doing it our own way, and speaking for myself only I resent anybody telling me that my way is not the proper way to do it. It IS for me, and it works for me and probably for others as well. from what I read in this thread. We are all big enough and old enough to do things the way that we want, without some nanny coming along telling me that their way is best.

Ihm just curious: pricing at government hospitals
billd766 replied to DUS's topic in Health and Medicine
The last time I went to the local government hospital (about 10 days ago on a Sunday afternoon) to get some meds, the doctors fee was 50 baht. We all had to wait nearly an hour as there was a genuine emergency and the duty doctor was incredibly busy. -
That is because there is no argument unless it is of your making. People choose what suits them and not what others seem to think that they should choose. If they prefer COD or a card, it is THEIR choice, and what they are happiest with. Nobody else's decision matters.

He is correct about there being no, or very few persons of colour in high ranking positions in Scotland. It was not a rant but simply a correct statement. However as he was born in Glasgow, he IS Scottish, in exactly the same way that Trump was born in the USA and NOT in Scotland, and therefore is a citizen of the USA.

Debt ceiling: Janet Yellen warns US could hit debt ceiling by 1 June
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Just another one of your anti President Biden lies once again? Yes, it is expensive, but so is freedom, which you would know,if you ever fought for it. When did President Biden declare war in the Ukraine? Russia actually invaded the Ukraine in February 2022. President Biden and the USA, along with the 30 NATO countries declared support for the Ukraine. Now unless you have been reading and watching Fox News again, President Biden has NOT declared war on Russia and neither has NATO. T The inflammatory false accusations is yours and not his. -

Good for him. -
Really? I have never ordered any refrigerator online let alone 2 identical ones. Nor would I pay COD for them. I would go to the shop and buy them there and they will deliver them as well.
-
1 I have never needed a refund. 2 When I roder COD I get the money and put it in a plastic bag by my pc. That way if my wife or son pay the money is always there. 3 I always track my order and I know what I have ordered and what I am expecting. 4 COD works very well for me and, it seems for other posters on this thread. 5 If it works without a problem then keep on. If you get one problem in a year it is norma;;y no big deal. More that that is not a COD problem but an ordering problem. 6 I mostly use the same suppliers every time and I can talk with them online using Lazada messages.

Good for him. Lucky for me that I didn't participate as I would not have chosen that number. -
Really? But Trump was born in New York, whereas Humza Haroon Yousaf was born in the city of Glasgow on 7 April 1985. https://www.google.com/search?q=Humza+Yousaf&rlz=1C1CHBF_enTH1026TH1026&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Early life Birth and family background Humza Haroon Yousaf was born in the city of Glasgow on 7 April 1985.[4] He is the son of first-generation immigrants: his father Mian Muzaffar Yousaf was born in Mian Channu, Punjab, Pakistan, and emigrated from the city with his family in the 1960s, eventually working as an accountant.[5] His paternal grandfather worked in the Singer sewing machine factory in Clydebank in the 1960s.[6] Yousaf's mother, Shaaista Bhutta, was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to a family of Punjabi descent.[7][6] He belongs to the Rajput community.[8] Her family experienced violent racially motivated attacks on several occasions for being seen as taking jobs that "belonged" to Africans, and they later immigrated to Scotland.[9]
