WISE large transfers, any recent problems?
Does the time lag of seconds, minutes, hours or even the next working day really matter?

WISE large transfers, any recent problems?
I have not had ANY problems with my Wise borderless account in over 5 years. TBH I have no idea why a small number of posters have had problems.

Plastic pellet guns
I use a catapult (slingshot) with clay balls for ammunition on a black cat that thinks it lives around the house during the day, The catapult is not that accurate but it only cost 50 thb. The clay balls were about 1 baht each.

Zarah Sultana says she is quitting Labour to start party with Corbyn
Perhaps what the Labour Party promised before the election and what they have delivered since are radically different. I would call it an opposition politicians promise. The same thing that you find among politicians in most countries. If you really need to know contact her directly and simply ask her. I am sure that she is on some social media web site, and she may even respond to you. I have no idea and I doubt that anybody else on ANN does either. TBH I had never heard of her until this thread opened. I have no idea who the majority of the UK politicians are either and there are 500 of them. Can you name even 20 of them? I would struggle to name even 10 UK politicians, let alone the reason why they wanted to be politicians in the first place.

Zarah Sultana says she is quitting Labour to start party with Corbyn
Perhaps she is not happy in the official Labour Party with Starmer as leader and PM.

Fish & Chips
There used to be and still is according to Google an open air bar called the Bus Stop on Soi Nana about 300 metres up on the right side that did very good fish and chips. It is probably around 250 baht now. What kind of fish I did not ask but is was a food sized the last time I went. The nearest BTS station is Nana about 500 metres from The Bus Stop on the Sukhumvit line. If you are in the area it is worth a visit. Although it is a bar, the ladies don't pester you for drinks. There are other good restaurants on Soi Nana as well.

Thai Lion Air Flight Aborts Flight at Kolkata Due to Technical Snag
A good decision by the pilot and the flight crew. Better to return to the stand than not being able to take off and run out of runway and crash whilst trying. The pilot seems to want to be an old pilot, and not a bold pilot suffering from "press-on-itis".

Royal Thai Air Force Unveils Locally-Made Kamikaze Drone
And you are condemning it without even knowing if it works or where it will be used used. Designing, developing and refining a weapon does not happen overnight. Are you suggesting that Thailand does nothing until it declares a war, and then start from scratch to design, develop and refine a weapon? 'if you want peace, prepare for war' The phrase 'if you want peace, prepare for war' was first written by Roman general Vegetius. Vegetius believed a strong army during peace prevents vulnerability and encourages deterrence against invaders. The idea of 'peace through strength' has been adapted through history, influencing various military strategies. There is more if you want to search for it.

NATO is an organisation which covers Western Europe and has nothing to do wit Thailand or Asia. AFAIK the weapon has not been deployed in action yet, so I have no idea what you are rambling on about.

BKK Pushes Forward with ‘Universal Design’ for Public Buildings to Promote Disability Access
It is quiet most of the time here except at the weekends, when a lot of tourists on scooters, motor bikes, pick ups and SUVs head up to Mae Wong national park and Chong Yen (which is the end of the road) on Saturday mornings and back home on Sunday afternoons.

Immigration office closures for Asarnha Bucha Day -- one or two days?
I would rather believe the Immigration office rather than Google, especially as I spoke to them on Friday last week.

Immigration office closures for Asarnha Bucha Day -- one or two days?
I spoke to the Immigration Office in Kamphaeng Phet on Friday last week and they are closed on Thursday 10th, Friday 11th July and 12th and 13th as it is the weekend anyway. They will open again on Monday 14th July. They are only a small office but I have no idea if it is a nationwide closure.

Child Hospitalised After Consuming Cannabis-Infused Gummies Left Behind at Birthday Party
Not at all. The idiot social media influencer should be made to eat 4 or 5 boxes non stop of the gummies so that he will learn from HIS stupid mistake the hard way.

BKK Pushes Forward with ‘Universal Design’ for Public Buildings to Promote Disability Access
Too many grockles down there for me. I much prefer rural Thailand where the pace of life is slower and with far fewer tourists from the big cities and from abroad.

Because Thailand is not then reliant on out of country and good true reliable allies are not easy to find or worth the trouble of keeping nowadays.

Royal Thai Air Force Unveils Locally-Made Kamikaze Drone
Good for the RTAF and good for Thailand. Any thing designed and built in Thailand and NOT reliant on other countries is good. It gives jobs to Thai workers, designers and businesses and saves the country valuable foreign currency.

BKK Pushes Forward with ‘Universal Design’ for Public Buildings to Promote Disability Access
Whereas in the "big" village near to where I live in rural Kamphaeng Phet there are pavements and even pedestrian crossings mainly near the schools. I use a stick when I walk and cars do stop for me to cross, and sometimes local Thai people will stop what they are doing, go out into the road to stop the traffic and even help me across the road. Bear in mind that this is only a small village and not a big tourist city. I think that it all depends on where you live.

Obviously you are not disabled and have no problem in accessing public buildings However despite your "Pull up the ladder, Jack. I'm all right", attitude, many thousands of Thai people DO have a problem with steps, slopes and even accessing the odd disabled parking spot, which is occupied by fit lazy people.
