IMHO they are leaving Putin to be dealt with by the Russians themselves, and the ICJ. I also think that Putin will get more paranoid and less trusting of the people that surround him. If you go back in history to 1984, Indira Gandhi was assassinated by 2 of her own handpicked bodyguards. I don't think that the Thai tax department is interested in how much SS you get paid, but they are probably more interested in how much you transfer into Thailand. They will also be interested in your age, if you have children of school age or at college/uni, as they will affect how much your tax allowance in Thailand will be. Sadly the one that I opened my account at in BigC at Kamphaeng Phet closed down. I assume due to a lack of customers (and perhaps a rental rise). They simply closed the shop down, shut the doors, and the accounts went back to the main branch.

The only PITA for me is that both Bangkok Bank (which will take 2 trips, 1 tom order the 12 month statement and another to collect it at least 3 working days later) and the tax office, are 65km away. I think I will need to make 3 trips as I will need to highlight in 3 different colours, my pensions as 2 are assessable and one is not. It will make it easier for the tax office and for me as well as I can do the highlighting and then scan the statements onto my pc.

So why would I use KBank when the interbank transfer from Bangkok Bank is free and is already marked as an international transfer? It generally takes only a couple of minutes, start to finish, to make an interbank transfer.
