  1. I did in the 80s when we still had a train service. I'd take a train to Invercargill or the west coast, hire a car and drive up to Christchurch by the back roads stopping overnight. Did that 3 times by different routes and wasn't expensive. I went skiing in Queenstown a few times and it wasn't the abomination it has become back then.
  2. IMO Scouting, like many organisations, has been taken over by social terrorists that seek to destroy the existing world and remake it into some woke monstrocity.
  3. I've read about many such in the US. I guess it's easier than tracking down the real bad people and it looks great on a CV.
  4. You are so correct about Africa. The Sudan crisis makes Ukraine and Gaza/ West Bank/ Lebanon look like a picnic, but which western politicians even mention it?
  5. You got that right. Humans inhabited planet Earth for a cosmic millisecond while conditions supported our existence. Nature doesn't give a rat's bottom whether we exist or not, and it's likely we won't for too much longer. Humans are too busy moaning about climate change to actually do anything to adapt to it. Sayonara baby, and thanks for all the fish.
  6. Everything I read leads me to believe the Koreans are only engaged in Kursk, which is in Russia. Seems the west's propaganda machine is in full flow with the BS.
  7. Are mobile phones with internet access standard issue for Nth Korean soldiers? I phones no doubt.
  8. Wasn't it someone on your side that pointed out that using a communication device allows the enemy to pinpoint the user's location for a drone strike? I'm calling fake news on that.
  9. Most of the cases were politically motivated. Now he's won I expect they will be quietly dropped. As POTUS he won't be tried till be retires, and by then he'll be so old what would be the point? The only cases he may still face would be before he is sworn in and it will be a brave judge that agrees to preside on them. It would be a political crisis if the POTUS was in home detention Trying to put him in jail along with his Secret Service details, meeting foreign dignitaries in jail, dealing with all the things a POTUS has to in jail would make the US a mockery.
  10. Not infallible though. Stupid submarines and insults comes to mind. I was hoping he'd be on the first flight to Mars till he joined Trump. I'll withhold judgement till I see how he's doing.
  11. I thought the results would be held up in months of court cases and recounts. I was especially surprised about Georgia. They must have learned a few lessons after the last fiasco. I held out till the final win put him over 170. I just couldn't accept that they didn't have a few dirty tricks to play. Perhaps the powers behind Biden realised that she was going to be a disaster as POTUS ( a huuuuuuge mistake ) and let her fail. Better to let Trump have it and try with a better candidate next time when he is out for good. It's not like they are in a rush.
  12. Trump wins !
  13. Let's hope Trump keeps his promise and pardons the IMO wrongly imprisoned tourists. IMO Stalin was less vengeful than a US Democrat that was frightened by the boogie man.
  14. That photo reminded me of the beret, something I had to wear for years in the military. It has to be the most idiotic stupid piece of headwear ever invented. Hard to keep on when moving a lot, doesn't shade the eyes from the sun, doesn't protect the ears or neck from the sun. Completely useless in a military sense, yet lucrative for the people that make them. Fidel didn't wear them, which makes him way more clever than Che, who was so dumb, he went off to fight an unwinnable war in a country that didn't care about him and ended up dying unpleasantly.
  15. She has made a concession speech filled with the same word garbage as all her other speeches. Looked like she had been crying all night which would explain her absence last night. Harris and HRC can now have coffee mornings with The View members and Michelle where they can cry together. I haven't been this cheerful since this day 2016. Is it wrong to be so cheerful when so many are sobbing into their hankies?
  16. She ain't cackling now.
  17. President Kamala Harris
  18. I bet they are sorry they did that right now. LOL.
  19. I'm not the one weeping. X 5 million ( the number of votes Trump had more of than Harris ) https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/11/06/2024-popular-vote-results/76088881007/
  20. No wonder you've been rather quiet. You can't walk that one back. Down 3 in Iowa?
  21. We've had to take the <deleted> from your lot for 4 years- it feels soooooooooo great to wake up on the first day of the fight back from woke liberalism. MAGA, MAGA, MAGA. Is it wrong to be so cheerful when half the voters in the US are crying?
  22. It was. Unlike the few thousand in Biden's case, over 100,000 is hard to bring in in a backpack.
  23. Excuses so far. It was the bomb threats She didn't have long enough to campaign and that's just the ones I heard on tv so far.
  24. At least you got something right.
