Not in my opinion. The EEC was probably a good idea for Europe, but the push to make it a political and monetary union was ill considered and an expensive mistake, as was expanding it willy nilly. Far as I'm concerned, it was always a project that would fail, as the political structure is not fit for purpose. The most obvious failure is the liberal idiots trying to force all the EU countries to share the illegals that they were so keen to invite in. Now of course the results is plain- right wing gains in elections and countries like Germany desperately imposing "restrictions' that are so pathetic as to be meaningless. IMO it's going to fail anyway, so now is as good a time as any.

Rubbish. The israelis have been illegally occupying Palestine since 1967, there have been umpteen UN resolutions ( all ignored by israel ) and no country did anything that made a difference. BTW they ain't futile, they are displacing thousands of israelis, and giving israelis a taste of what they give to Palestinians.

If anyone wants to immigrate to a country, and not just live there as most farangs in Thailand do, they should be prepared to become part of the community they join. The community should not have to accept their culture, whatever it is. If they ain't prepared to do that, they should not be allowed to become citizens.

Why isn't she earning her own money? If she isn't working, you are paying her to be with you, just like any BG. I was married and while I paid household expenses and nights out, as 9,000 baht a month doesn't go far, I didn't give her any sort of "salary". She earned her own money for makeup, clothes etc.

Given that large numbers don't bother getting married before having kids now, that's something that belongs in history. I see no reason for even having marriage any more given it's failure rate. Lawyers like it though.

Not as long as Washington exists as it does today. The GOP members in congress likely will abandon him but IMO they only went along because they were scared of his base, and disliked him all the time. Without him they can get back to the business of enriching themselves at taxpayer expense, which is IMO why Trump got elected in the first place. Far as I can see there is very little difference between career GOP and career Democrats- all in it for themselves.

I read somewhere that in the aftermath of a nuclear conflict, the survivors will envy the dead. I reckon that's true.

The Palestinians are currently being killed by the israelis without any possibility of defending themselves from the bombs. I doubt they could be any more miserable. I also doubt it would be any different if Hezbollah was not firing lots of missiles into israel. At the least, it diverts troops from destroying Gaza.
