If his case isn't good enough to win, then it's not good enough. He can always appeal if he loses, of course. One hopes that the judge doesn't allow an interested party to sway their decision.

Biden called netanyahu and must have been angry enough to make netanyahu do something. Apparently threatened to cut off support, which if Biden meant it would have got a result. Apparently killing foreign aid workers wasn't a good idea. They should have stuck to Palestinians as no matter how many of them died it didn't seem to have much effect. We'll have to wait to see if this has any lasting result though.

My 30's were in no way good for me. On the other hand, when I discovered Thailand life got a whole lot better.

IMO if it needs drastic action to save it from further destruction, I hope the government does not help them and they have to restrict the number of tourists allowed to stay on it. As usual, the local authorities have done nothing to solve problems ( do they get advice from Pattaya politicians on how to not run the island? ), and one suspects that the money taken from millions of tourists vanishes into the usual suspects pockets, instead of being spent on infrastructure. Last time I was there, it was sunny most of the time, but it seems that a solar powered desalination plant is beyond their IMO teeny intellects to consider.

Most if not all my problems were/ are caused by governments not doing their job and wandering off into the weeds with moronic societal changing policies, like stealing my money to build cycle paths that hardly anyone uses because they hate cars. Anyone supporting small government gets my vote. b/ Bush encouraged the Shiites to rebel in Iraq and then failed to support them, resulting in the murder of tens of thousands by Saddam. Unfortunately history is littered with such incidents eg The British and the Cossacks in WW1, the allies and the Arabs in WW1, the US and the Vietnamese hill tribes and so on.
