Trust the prosecution to make a mess of what should have been a slam dunk conviction. Do they take special classes in how not to conduct a proper prosecution, or are they just incompetent?

Been watching the university protests in the US on Al Jazeera. When the college authorities call in cops in full riot gear with clubs to disperse peaceful students one knows that something is very wrong. Ultimately the cops are on the wrong side IMO, supporting authorities on the side of genocide. Many students arrested, but apparently the charges thrown out in court as the protests are legal. This is IMO a direct descendant of the anti Vietnam war, anti apartheid protests that ended both, and hopefully ends the illegal occupation of Palestine and the illegal collective punishment of Palestinians. IMO it's not going to end well for the college authorities, as it's not just students, but also faculty protesting and the images of cops in full riot gear with clubs pushing non violent students around are being broadcast all over the US. The images of the atrocities happening in Gaza are being seen all over the world and more and more people are realising who the criminals are in that area, so more and more people will support the protests. Eventually, as with the anti Vietnam war protests, the protests will become so large that the government can't ignore them any more. If Biden doesn't feel his chances of winning in November are threatened, he should be. He is IMO obviously complicit in israeli atrocities, so the protests will likely focus on him, come the election. If the students keep coming back day after day, it's going to become very difficult for the cops to keep descending in the hundreds to deal with them- they do have other responsibilities to deal with, like catching actual criminals. The cops better hope that it doesn't get violent as the images of heavily armed cops beating up students will be beamed into every house in the US. That never plays well with the tax paying voters.

They've probably been indoctrinated since birth and most will have served in the military oppressing the Palestinians and protecting settlers as they attack Palestinians and steal their land.

I understand that there is no defense present in a Grand Jury, so they don't have any counter to the prosecutor. In that case they only have half the story. For sure, if there was any evidence at all, even a smidgen, he'd be indicted as well, IMO. Ergo there is zero, nothing, not an iota, zip, nada, not a sausage of evidence.

You are correct that American aid to Russia, not just money, but also tanks and planes etc, were necessary to win against the Germans, who were better armed in every aspect ( the Russians won at the cost of 40 million or so lives ), but money and tanks don't win wars, they are won by grunts in the mud. Besides, the Allies knew that if Russia was able to keep masses of Germans occupied it would mean they were not fighting the Allies, so it was a case of helping the Russians for their own benefit. That does not apply in Ukraine as Russia is not at war with the west. Nice try but no cigar.

Without going into a history lesson, Russia diverted and destroyed so much of the German military ( army AND air force ) that the Allies were able to reach Germany before the Russians took all of Eastern Europe. Had the German military not been gutted by Russia the Allied invasion would probably never have left the beaches alive, IMO. The Allied secret weapon was Hitler who refused to let the Germans retreat from Russia, and they were destroyed there. Perhaps they did it to save themselves, but it doesn't mean that they didn't win the war against Germany
