Surge in antisemitism in UK worst for 40 years
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Perhaps they support israeli actions in Palestine. Is there any equivalence of the Jews for Peace movement as seen in the US. I have not seen any such reported. -
Surge in antisemitism in UK worst for 40 years

As usual making it up. I never claimed that only children were getting blown up, but people are more disturbed by innocent children getting blown up than adults- unfair, but human nature. You can hardly deny that thousands of children have been killed. I also never claimed that only hospitals and schools were getting blown up and you are lying if you claim I said anything about baby milk factories, though it is plain you are implying that I did. You are also lying by claiming that I have Hamas heroes. You will not be able to quote any post of mine saying that. Sadly, making things up seems to be a common occurrence in post attacking me. -
UK tips into recession in huge blow to Rishi Sunak
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Seems to be a pretty common British political situation. Blair had 2 huge majorities and still stuffed it up, Gordon was a bad joke, the conservatives IMO only survived in power because Labour was worse (and still is IMO ). For whatever reason, seems that British politics is so dire that no decent people with a brain cell want any part of it. I don't see it getting any better, either. -
He can't even get it right. The two hostages rescued by the IDF recently were reportedly in good health. However some would rather make it up than post the truth. From an israeli source no less https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-rescues-2-hostages-from-south-gazas-rafah-in-daring-nighttime-operation/ The Israel Defense Forces said that Fernando Marman, 61, and Louis Har, 70, were in good condition after being rescued, following an operation that involved battles with Hamas terrorists and massive Israeli airstrikes in Rafah. Both were later reunited with their families in an Israeli hospital and were said to be in good condition.

As Israel attacks Rafah, US offers only words of caution
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
There are some posters on here that do not hide their hatred and dishonesty, but the poster you quoted is IMO not one of them, as he does not post with hatred or dishonesty. I have read his posts and none of them contain hatred or dishonesty. By all means quote his words of hatred or dishonesty, but I doubt you will find any to quote. -

If you are claiming that it's only Muslims attacking Jews you need to prove that, otherwise you are making it up. -

Hmmmmm. Perhaps if Jews in israel were not blowing thousands of children to bits in Gaza, people in the UK might not be so PO at Jews in the UK.- 228 replies

Sooooo, you are OK that the US workers make loadsacash by providing the means to kill lotsapeople elsewhere? I wonder if the people getting blown to bits with American bombs agree with you? You do realise that they are people, don't you? People with families and lives and dreams for the future, just like you.

They are not doing nothing. IMO they are letting Biden look like an incompetent loser. -

It's waited 3 years, so why the rush now? -

Nothing would make me happier than seeing Sunak humiliated and sacked. -
It certainly doesn't give one confidence in Biden's ability to navigate an increasingly precarious situation elsewhere. Seems he got a free ride from the press in the first 3 years, and the chickens are now coming home to roost. At the worst possible time for Biden and the best possible time for his opponent.

I don't put much faith in British courts to hand out appropriate penalties. -
Shocking behavior by Brit on Thai Flight

Given what he did, the description seems appropriate. It's a shame that he won't spend a very long time in a Thai jail, where the other inmates can educate him about acceptable behaviour. I hope he gets banned from flying on any airline. -

According to Al Jazeera not long ago, israelis ordered Nasser Hospital evacuated, and has destroyed part of the hospital. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-68293874 Israel orders evacuation of largest hospital in southern Gaza -

I came to that conclusion about 2 months ago when the plan became clear. They certainly got the israeli reaction correct, though it didn't require much thought IMO, as they have always reacted with excessive force to any provocation. The question though, is how many Palestinian deaths Hamas thought would occur before the world intervened, and how far they are willing to continue. Having come this far I suspect they will stay the course. When it's all over, I hope outraged citizens will remind western "leaders" ( that colluded in the atrocity ) of every dead Palestinian child, for the rest of their lives. -

That would then include just about every leading figure that has spoken recently on Al Jazeera, who have been using genocide to describe what is happening, all of which I consider more rational than yourself with your refusal to acknowledge the reality of the situation in Gaza. I am sure that you will denigrate Al Jazeera, so carry on. -

This talk of peacekeepers reminds me of a Tom Clancy book I read many years ago, where an israeli soldier just shot ONE Palestinian and the UN sent a peacekeeping force. I don't remember the book title but was Clancy ever wrong on that! The UN has been exposed as useless and hostage to any member with a veto. I can't see it surviving in the same corrupt manner in the future. Hopefully all the other members demand an end to the veto.
