Oh dear, just as well I've never claimed to be any sort of computer expert, as I never knew about right clicking to create a new folder! I just tried it and you are so right. Funny thing though, I've complained about that very thing with computer "experts" and none told me that. So thank you for that. Snipping tool on 10 has been replaced by something called snip and sketch and I hate it. The old one is so easy to use, and I have no interest in spending ages trying to work out how to use anything else. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I won't be using 11 any time, as I'm happy using 7 and will use 10 because I couldn't buy a new one with 7. I bought a new one to use for things like this forum and to keep my 7 going for other things as long as possible.

If it didn't make certain people megabucks IMO it wouldn't be an issue at all. BTW, water vapour is a major greenhouse gas but they can't make money from stopping that so it's not even discussed.

The obvious response is that it's only effective if the electricity is not generated using fossil fuels.

Are you able to edit photos on your phone? The edit function on W10 is the only thing I like about 10, but photoshop worked just fine before.

I have no idea what is on 11, but 7 is way more easy to use than 10, Eg to create a new folder on 7 I just click the new folder box, but on 10 I have to change to home and then create a new folder, and the replacement for the snipping tool on 10 is an abomination, compared to the one on 7. Little things I know, but make 10 less easy to work with, when they didn't have to change it. Far as I'm concerned they only stopped supporting 7 to try and force people to buy a later OS- just greed.

Simple really. Give a financial incentive for men to have a vasectomy. Way cheaper to the state than sterilizing women. If I'd been allowed to have a vasectomy I'd have had one in my 20s, but drs won't if a guy hasn't had kids, or at least back then they didn't.

That's irrelevant if only, lets say 100 scientists are "climate change scientists". It might be significant if 97% of scientists agree with them. NB I have no idea how many scientists are in fact "climate change scientists". I've met more than a few scientists in my life and am frankly underwhelmed by most.

Speaking for myself, activities and bucket lists take my mind off the reality of my existence, which is a good thing, and "silence and solitude" are all very well if busy with "activities and bucket lists", but not if they allow reality to sneak in, which only leads to feeling sorry for myself. Apparently you believe that humans are the template for intelligence, or at least earthlike beings. Given the billions of planets in the universe, any thing may have evolved with intelligence. The only thing required is a medium to transmit electricity, eg a mobile silicone like blob with electrical conductivity that feeds off the gas that is the atmosphere could evolve to be intelligent. It's a big universe, let your mind accept that not everything will be earthlike.
