  1. Simple answer as already been stated ...DONT go to a Honda dealership, you will find many locations who will do the job cheaper, perhaps if you had number one insurance and a cracked windscreen, it would be replaced along with the windscreen under insurance!
  2. Perhaps is because the male Indian tourists are getting robbed, payback is a <deleted>! if they hadn't been ripping off the girls in the first place, refusing to pay or the girls finding out that it was him and his mates waiting for pay for one and free for all in the room. But, they are tourist having their fake gold chains and rolexs beening taken and complain, purely for insurance reason, that the police must show some action.
  3. Lets hope PT don't start up their old tricks and start trying to push their agenda, we know what happened the last two times.
  4. They warned him to be cautious about publicising the situation on social media, saying “please be mindful of the potential of comments on social media to worsen your situation. We encourage you to focus on sorting out your case. If anything does not sound right, do think twice and be careful before acting." The official said they had been in touch with the lawyer and local police, who reported that he had been throwing water at other detainees and police officers. Salinger said he had never thrown water at people. Salinger’s pregnant partner Vanessa Pagarigan came over from the couple’s home in the Phillipines at the time of the arrest to help him. Pagarigan has been rushing between the court and the jail, bringing Salinger bottles of water. But no change of clothes? plus “He has a son in Australia who wonders whether he will ever see him again,” "When you are travelling, you don't travel within the framework of New Zealand law, you travel within the law and conventions of the country you're travelling".
  5. What makes you thing he wasn't ’slagging the police’ or ‘acting smug’ and 'without any remorse' ???
  6. If the sister sent 10K, then the sister can pay for a one ticket, plus taxi direct to airport.
  7. The difference is in the UK and US you may get away, slagging the police, but here noway. He plea guilty, and should talk to them, instead of acting smug, but, with remorse. Sweet mouth goes along way in Thailand, no matter how false it may be.
  8. He was out on bail since September, Went to court pleaded guilty, got a small fine, made to sleep naked, I doubt that. Must have acted like a d..k, towards the officers. cause if he hadnt and spoke correctly, they would have provided him with, at his cost, food and shower, plus allowed him to access his belongings. plus if he had used a lawyer and offered to purchase a ticket to fly home in the court hearing, he wouldn't be in the jail. he would be gone. Sad thing is, here in Thailand with entertainment and booze, he had to use drugs. So, suffer he must.
  9. ou forget the last trick that are stack into cupboards of schools because within a year, the cheap 'Ipads" promised to every schoolkid, to aid their education. Remember a buffalo is easily lead, once the ring in its nose is in place, or a handful of grass is offered. also the carrot on a stick makes the donkey move where you want it to go.
  10. I dont understand my countrymen, they come to Thailand, shave their hair off their heads, get Robbie Williams tats at the age of 40+ and believe cheap flip flops have super power. But forget to clip their toe nails and a two day growth makes the super sexy!
  11. Did he not check that the motorbike he hired came with insurance? it is the law that you should have the basic cover that will cover some hoepital treatment...hmm! he didn't ask nor recived is more likely the case.
  12. Did the same to Phetchabun, too much hassle for them to join low yield airports together , no cross country flights or links, if the transport business can run double decker buses every two hours with 80 per capacity and make money, there is no reason for airlines to do the same, joining hands with the parcel delivery companies and fresh products, if they can't ot won't make it pay, let new companies try, or the government should step in and have the national airline or the Thai air force to do it. It would make more sense seeing that they can't get the railway to extend the routes to every province.
  13. At the least have your Thai GF call the police and inform that a girl is being attack by a group of men in the bar.
  14. 5k x how many days = ??? True! if you say it quick enough, it doesnt sound to bad,
  15. By law in Thailand, they are expected to maintain life, and only enough to keep you alive, major work is at a cost. You happy to pay 10K per day just for the room and a nurse to pop in check BP and temp. go ahead.
  16. Use Pengasius but leave it out of the fridge to dry out for a few hours and then batter it.
  17. If he is at private hospital, they will state they are unable or unwilling, for 2 reasons, firstly they are unwilling because they may not get the money, or they dont have the right staff to do the work. second, they dont like work that might mean the death occuring and affecting their bottom line.
  18. The Thai medical system is very good, in many cases better than the NHS. The large government hospital have all the equipment, and the doctors are also at the hos[itals, not popping in to do a few hours. everything is done and the specialist heart hospital are brillant, I have had two heart attacks in the last 15 years and have strents placed within 12 hours, and 3 monthly check ups. the first one I went to the hospitals with several problems created from the first attack, and was dealt with right away. All free because I joined the social sercuity scheme and pay 400 baht per month. If you think that the private hospitals are better you are mistaken except of course the internation renown ones. and you have too mich money to throw around.
  19. Hmm! looking at the photo, not a serious facture, no surgey, head on pillow, slight grin on face. just red card him and he can fly home. and I hope he hasn,t damaged the MOPED, 'cuse they are collectable and rare nowadays. most from the 70's and 80's.
  20. Simple! where is his crash hemlet, was it at the scene of the accident? if so get a medic who attended to swear a statement that they removed it at the scene. Job done, insurer pays, small gift to medic.
  21. Bangkaew, ours is 7 years old now, friends with the neighbours and their kids, has her area she takes care of, doesn't bark, except to greet the dustbin and delivery men. lives in the garden. has a special bark call when confronting snakes, which she dispaches quickly. and is loyal, calm and a member of our family.
  22. Just remember the last line on visa extensions is simple, basically everything is up to the immigation officers decision. The visa extensions is not what they are after, It is complete corruption of bogus types of visas and illegal or false companies. by Chinese groups, for illegal activities. the extension of visa activities is purely a paper trail, in which agencies, on behalf of indiviuals, assist the immigation paper trail, to the safisfaction concerning the final discison to extend.
  23. The driver is at fault as he decided to drive past the Elephant, that you do not do.
  24. I understand that people on Holiday, can have accidents, or become ill. But why is it those looking to get people to send money, beause of high costs, and insurance company problem. seem to be the ones who automatically go to the private/international hospitals. I doubt they would have such huge costs. if they were to transfer themselves or go directly to the government hospitals. The large government hospitals have everything for all cases. I have had in 15 years two heart attacks and have been treated in the government hospitals including being treated the last occassion in the local hospital, transported by government ambulance 200 kilometres to the larger hospital with heart department, treated and transported back, plus recovery in a private room to recover. at a faction of the 10K plus a night at private hospital. Plus knowing the costs would go back into the government sector to keep improving the great services they give. I would also think the insurance companies would also be happier to pay the bills due to the lower costs. May I suggest contacting the insurance company to pay the bill, and transfer him to a government hospital to recover.
  25. Reminds me when a cement lorry hit me and made me turn over in the ditch in the middle of the road near Saraburi, the lorry drove off, and the locals came to my aid, when the police were phoned they asked if anybody was dead or seriosly injured. When told that noone was, they stated that they wouldnt be coming. and to contact my insurance company. Thankfully the insurance man turned up, took me to hospital, and took control of everything including statements from the locals who witnessed the situration. He was a better policeman than the real police.
