  1. I think you've posted this in the wrong thread as it has nothing to do with immigration and overstaying.
  2. Do you have anything to back up what you say, or is it something you dreamed up with no proof whatsoever. I for one have never heard of Arabs being found with underage girls. Americans, Germans, Brits, yes. Arabs, no. Perhaps you have any cases or reports to give us. Or are they hidden so deep that no-one has found them. If so, how do YOU know of it? Or is it just racist talk based on nothing more than that.
  3. A proper journalist would have asked. But, as Thais are taught not to ask but to listen from the day they begin school, that isn't going to happen. How many times have we seen people on tv surrounded by 'journalists' holding their phones and other recorders, never asking a question of them. Just accept all they are told, like obedient children. Not surprising I suppose, when someone tried asking the previous PM a question and the PM threatened to have his mouth taped shut.
  4. It's because there are plenty of contributors on this site who like to post, even if they have nothing sensible to say. Same as any media site I suppose, and the reason a friend of mine doesn't accept any comments on his site.
  5. Funny how readers read Nana and immediately think of Soi 4 and post responses relating to that, when the report and photos clearly show they targeted Soi 3 and 3/1, the area favoured by Arabs. Maybe a sensible idea, considering the little skirmish going on the the Middle East.
  6. Well, there have been countless posts on this site from people claiming they feel far safer walking late at night in Thailand than they do in their home country. I don't think that applies to Pattaya though, as we read of late night attacks there several times a week, usually by those who are gender-confused.
  7. My wife just returned from the local shop at 7 this morning with the Lager and Dunkel versions, 60 baht each. Don't you just love a wife who brings you beer for breakfast! However, I'll wait for the sun to go down before doing a taste test. Meanwhile, she'll seek out the Weizen and IPA when she goes to Lotus'ssssss and CJ later today.
  8. Maybe that's why they dilute it. They don't have to actually taste it as they get pi****
  9. That's true. But back then such things were seen by comparatively few and were always done for fun. Now such posts can reach tens or hundreds of millions and can be used with malicious intent. Just another way in which society has gone backwards.
  10. That is by far the nearest I've found to an English ale. I buy that in small bottles by the case at a place near Kalasin immigration, after I was pointed in that direction by an AN member. Works out at 74 each though. If the Carabao is comparable, and in a large bottle for a much lesser price (50 has been mentioned for the lager) , I'll be changing brands.
  11. It's okay for sure, but strong? Leo is 5 and Leo 8 is 5.1. Actually of all the Thai beers, I find Leo the Weak to have the hoppiest flavour.
  12. Yes, but not easy to find in my neck of the woods (Kalasin, Roi Et), where I've looked.
  13. I've just noticed that the bottle shown above says Tawandang at the top. That is a very positive sign that the beer will be excellent, as it is at the Tawandang entertainment venues (where I once saw Carabao perform, by the way). And it explains the raspberry beer, which they sell there. I thought it was strawberry, but now I know it wasn't. Probably, to quote the ads for a certain Danish beer.
  14. They also do a passion fruit one which I once picked up by mistake. Even that wasn't bad if you like sweet Weizen. Probably one for the ladies though.
  15. She says he abused her and also that he was a very good person. Okay.
  16. They are good, and I even have the German glasses to drink them from. But they cost 3x as much so I don't buy them that often. Cheers Weizen is a pretty decent alternative.
  17. Indeed. Weizen is hit and miss here. Snowy is dreadful, Cheers is a pretty good copy of the German stuff. All personal taste, of course.
  18. I guess you only read the headline, Read on and..... Carabao-Red Sun has introduced five beer flavours to the market. These include Lager Beer, a German-style beer made from 100% malt; Dunkel Beer, a German-style dark beer made from roasted malt; Weizen Beer, a genuine Bavarian-style beer with a fruity aroma; Rose Beer, a genuine Bavarian-style beer mixed with raspberry; and IPA Beer, an ale with the taste and aroma of hops.
  19. The recent (and current?) ads for Chang Cold Brew on BTS stations and on huge billboards a good example. They don't promote the beer, but the mugs you can drink it from as a 'club' member.
  20. How does staying open longer impact safety and fire prevention systems? Shouldn't those measures be in place at all hours? More bizarre Thai logic.
