I come and go as I like, no re-entry permits, no 90 day reporting, no BS fines. Why can't Thailand do this ....?
the Phillies - not afraid of anybody anymore - already have their full load of terrorists, international gangsters etc., Thailand still tries to keep them out of the country or under control (= bestowe them with higher positions...)

Look at the hole in the wall next to the map. Someone wasn't happy with the service they had?
this where the culprit lady faded away through after her first arrest!

< travel in small groups who prefer to travel privately >
this way of moving about still does not imply a grossly increased spending character. Moreover, "small groups", "privately" etc. automatically implies it is just a handful of people; revenues can be siphoned off much more easily coz you got the guys fully under your control...!

the BiB interviewed me 6 yrs. ago already (found me in the sticks east of Khorat), no problem at that time, all docs handy and o.k.

A car from China? From the photo, the front passenger should be the one with serious injuries, and not the driver.
nobody knows what the driver did on the passenger seat (lady?) at the time of impact

For foreigners it's ... the sea.you say that again...frankly: I never even thought about "the sea" being there, it more resembles a huge dump of oily, dirty waste water with all kinds of plastic garbage...this together with the "sumptious, inviting" beach (width 4 yds or so)

Survey, gather intelligence and then arrest. On the basis of evidence, not skin colour
miraculously, the skin colour often goes together with the "evidence": Espec. in Lower Suk the look of these dark figures cries "evidence" already...

In the U.K. That would be written off but it will soon be back on the road
I spontaneously thought "this is not the first time this car looks like that..." I think some Khun Mike and his Mekkanicks fixed a previous, similarly severe accident about that car already

don't go to the booth of KASIKORN opposite Soi 7, they have lousy rates. btw there is a SuperRich booth inside of Asok SkyTrainStation, a short walk from Soi 7 ... and worth-while for that

And the other 11 was aroi mak mak.
never - a python is to nobody's palate, also goes for myself; maybe this particular long worm has friends in the catering business elsewhere in S.E. China (notably China...), but surely not Thailand

as a rule of thumb most thai companies will only hire non thais if no suitable local applicants are available because of the paperwork with visas and work permits etc..
that thumb has a sub- rule: Thai companies LOVE to hire non- Thais whenever they need a scape goat to clean up the mess somebody else in the organization produced or is going to produce (so the newly-hired foreign specialist cannot even smell he is going to be framed because there is nothing smelly yet ...) normal Chinese -Thai tactics written in age-old text books...

I think they ARE the police

as a Malay, as a fellow South East Asian, as somebody closer to Thai culture and Thai thinking than the standard forum farang, as somebody with obviously broad business experience in South East Asian countries, as somebody who appears to be learned I consider you pulling my leg with your query - have a goodday mate

How do you dispose of the old oil? Do service stations here accept such "donations"?
at least up country someone will always be happy with that: for a farm tuktuk, for a piston water pump, for the cement casters as separating oil etc.

all this story is total b.s. again - that girl gets old now, maybe not as successful as anticipated anymore: Now she goes on a cheap-charlie public relation tour, lets her tits assist the endavour ... that is all...

it appears general practice with the major banks to have you bunk away a minimum USD 500 or equiv. for your fcd (if you're below that you either pay fees or the acc. even disappears...). I have fcd in 2 banks with a fee of zero (no interest, though...) as long as the balance is above the requested limit

thinking about all the fatal pool accidents in Thailand I wonder what the hotel operators do with the now impure / hazardeous (?) pool water, drain it completely and refill or just add a few extra cans of chlorine or call a monk and give his absolution to the water? I mean, there WAS a corpse in the water which undeniably had started rotting away already...the operator may, however, just as well tend to adding formaline in high concentration to the water, every fish monger does that to his dead fish corpses in the open markets (we were informed)

why you specifically mention "Ratchaburi"? They don't have isolated requirements there - the immigration requirement for extending permissions to stay in the country are standardized and updated info. is best found on their web site

" We request authorities to take swift action as this is not good for Phuket’s reputation"
strange...I always wondered whether Phuket has a reputation at all, and if so: what for?

I miss the standard excuse wording in "the Gazette": ... manoeuvring on unknown terrain / poor road condition and under totally unexpected weather conditions..." but then...this wording is mostly used for bus and van drivers after one of their horrific crashes
