Thailand is great!! Are there challenges? sure ! what country does not have them. I am American but I also have a Greek Passport . I have a good pension from my trade union in the US,, collect Social security , have funds from assets I sold in the US. i am not sure what your situation is but, a couple of years ago I got my one year extension, (based on Marriage), but 8 months into my extension my passport expired, so I am thinking no problem, I will have my passport renew go back to IO and have the visa and extension transferred to the new passport, NO can do!! I was told the visa and extension was for the duration of that passport . so that extension I only got 8 months. That was my personal experience that one time. . Your situation and visa might be different.

So all of a sudden I get replies on funny things I posted on FB , Some young lady loves my sense of humor and would like to be my friend. So I look at the profile picture and OHHH Baby. It has happened twice , and of course I ignored it. I am funny , but I am not funny between the ears ????. These are not simple friend requests from people I don't know, these are replies from with in conversations I have in the FB groups I belong . Anyway I posted this as a warning ,Be careful out there. IMO if it looks like he would be convicted given the evidence , his lawyers would advise him to negotiate a plea deal. There might be some other punitive damages but I find it difficult to believe he would spend a day in jail. Jail is for the poor and those without power, He is neither of these things. I call banks an d goverment in the US, Greece and Italy all the time with no problem. Never called in Singapore so I am not entirely sure.
