Death penalty is too good for these people!! How can someone do that to another human being? They are animals, best they are put down like rabid animals.

Same here!! Of course they don't carry money, They don't want to be robbed. And why not pay by bank transfer, but expect a poor deliver guy to do a bank transfer for the change? We always pay by bank transfer, but still give the guy a little bit of a tip. These people do not make a lot of money,

Nato summit: Allies refuse to give Ukraine timeframe on joining
sirineou replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The whole thing is Idiotic IMO , and an attempt to weaken russia and diminish Chinese influence throwing Ukraine in the meat grinder. Of course they will not give Ukraine a timeline for joining NATO , The purpose of NATO is mutual defence, an attack on a NATO member is an attack on all. If Ukraine joined NATO the whole of NATO will have to declare war on Russia. Is Europe prepared to go to war with Russia? Even if NATO was to win , not only it will not be pretty for Ukraine , it will not be pretty for Europe , Remember that little thing about nuclear weapons? And If NATO attacks Russia what will China do? I am sure they will not be very happy having NATO in Russia and at their north boarder's, And aside from the defencive implications. second by only 1 percentage point to Saudi Arabia , Russia is the biggest supplier of OIL to China . Does anyone think the Chinese are blind and stupid? Does anyone know why Japan went to war with the US? And what is NATO doing in Korea Japan, and Australia? The chinese have a curse that goes something like this: " May you live in interesting times" and this are indeed interesting times. -

Chinese Battery Maker Begins Plant Construction in Thailand
sirineou replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I hear you. often I see videos on YouTube with the title " Game changing battery design, will change everything" then Look at the date posted and it's a year ago.and nothing has changed ???? I am always the skeptic, but the source of this announcement is a little more respectable, so let's see. I thought about an EV, they are everywhere here in Khon Kaen , I see them every day. but aside from the range anxiety, and charging time, as I thought about it more, I grew concern about the resale and service after warranties expiration. I read some place where Vifast has a buttery leasing program in the US, where you buy the vehicle but lease the batteries,. That sounds like an interesting concept. The other is the NIO battery swap system, where you are always getting a different battery . I really like the battery swap program but it is Pie in the sky as far as Thailand is concerned. Next few years will tell the direction the EV industry will take. After thinking about this, At this time the only way I would have an EV is as a second car. -

That's another problem , where the grid system will need to be upgraded to accommodate the additional EV charging load , but that's a problem easily solved with existing technology. At our farm, I have Two solar cells powering the well pump. I don't remember how much it was but it was relatively inexpensive to get. Those two cells would be adequate to charge my EV during a sunny day. If I has an EV , I would install a couple of those solar panels at my home and for the most part charge my EV at home during it's down time for free. well excluding the cost of the solar cells. -

In a few years when we are ready for EV hopefully we will have a better idea, and Batteries, range and charging time will have improved I read some place where Toyota claims to have developed a battery, that is more stable, has a 700 km+ range and charges in 5 minutes, So let's see. -

True. BYD offers a eight-year/160,000km warrantee on the battery, which is a pretty good warranty as far as warranties go, But where does that leave you after 160K miles? if you were planning to keep the vehicle for a long time? With an out of warrantee ICE vehicle of 160k miles if maintained properly the car cam easily clock another 160k miles. Who would repair your EV after warranty other than the manufacturer? I guess if you are planning to replace your vehicle every 8 years or 160K . it should be no problem. But with an ICE vehicle, after 160 K km , if it's clean you can sell it for good money. Will you be able to sell an EV at 160K km and a degraded battery? I honestly don't know, just thinking out loud as I consider EVs I guess we will know in the next 5 years. One thing I know. If need be, I can run my 2 year old Suzuki XL7 for the rest of my life. Im 66 years old -

That's generally true but in the case of EVs they are certainly providing a quality product. And they have to if they are to compete internationally. I would have no problem buying a main brand chinese EV, If I had not bought a new ICE vehicle recently, and would take a bath exchanging it now, I would definitely buy a BYD Atto 3. Having said that, I am concerned with the long term maintenance of an EV. An ICE machined , though more complicated, can easily be maintained to run forever by the neighborhood mechanic. . EVs have so much propitiatory technology, that can be maintained only by the manufacturers approved service center. Something to think about. -

I am not so sure about that, we are still the strongest military power in the world. We certainly will not go down without a fight, With many of us ending up as collateral damage. -

USA stands for the United States of Amnesia we all know about Cuba. But Have you forgotten about contra /santanista affair in Nicaragua? Why do you think we invaded Grenada? do you really think it was to protect some medical students? Do you honestly believe the US would tolerate adversarial foreign troops in the western hemisphere? What do you think would happen if China stationed Chinese troops in Mexico? -
Yeat that's true, they monetize the vids by the number of click they get. Also some of them talk too much. But there are a lot of good ones I have a file in my favorites and when I find a recipe that works , I save it there for later use.

I cook almost every day, I even bake my own bread. Street food is laced in sugar and god knows what else, A lot of it is fried in rancid oil that has been reused width an inch of it's life. I started when I moved here full time out of necessity and I realised that it was not magic . In fact it was very essay Stand mixer, four cups of bread flour, to cups of warm water with yeast, a pinch of salt, and I like caraway seeds, sometimes I use sesame seeds . everything goes in the mixer with a bread hook for five minutes, . Let rise (about 45 min) come back fold it and let it rise another 30 minutes, Throw it in the oven for 45 min, in a cast iron dutch oven , and you have the best bread you will ever buy Mayonnaise . Freshly made in less that 5 mim. 100times better than store bought (a couple of eggs, oil, and a bit of lemon) Pickles, small cucumbers, and a few cloves of garlic. , Punch a few holes with toothpick in the cucumbers, t , equal parts of water and vinegar three spoons of salt. and I like pepper flakes for an extra zing. In a jar for 9 days But I understand that not everyone is retired and has all the time in the world.

Two wrongs has never made a right. When it was alleged that Russia used them the Biden administration said that Putin was a war criminal for using them, (See vid below first 30 seconds) Now Biden wants to participate in their use. "He did it first" never worked with my mom when I was a kid and I am sure did not work with yours. , And it certainly does not work now,

No, I don't think trump is a good thing, but I also don't think that voting for an admitted war criminal is a good thing also. So I obtain. I do the right thing and if bad things happen because of them , it is not on me , it is on them. I am 66 years old and have seen this crap all my life. I had enough, I don't want to be an anti. any more, I want to be for something. I know get off your high horse you might think, and you might be right, but I like it up here, the weather is fine ????
