But that in itself is a logical fallacy Toyou propose to cure the patient by killing him . Which is what would happen if trump became the norm. You will not get a better system, you will gat a different and infinitely worst system, a system where when the term of a president is over he would not leave, he would simply try and find a way to subvert you ability as a citizen to vote him out. I hope you see the dangers associated with that. The democrats weaponizing the DOJ? You seem to forget about the trump DOJ , first was Jeff Sessions , do you remember him? Trump accused him of disloyalty because he resisted his attempts of weaponization of the department and he resigned . Loyalty to trump and not justice. Sessions were replaced by acting AG Matthew G. Whitaker, He was acting AG for months, when he would not play ball with trump, he was replaced by William Barr and we all remember how that went. He also resigned. then we had Jeffrey Rosen as acting acting AG , (a lot of acting LOL) and who can forget, the Jeffrey Clark debacle . Well you of course because you seem to have forgotten the rest of the soap opera "As the DJ turns !! a new episode every few months. "

Will we ever rid ourselves of The Big C., Cancer?
sirineou replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
An "at best" cursory understanding of the subject. for more detail google "Cancer and Evolution" Will we ever eliminate Cancer? We will. when evolution is no longer a thing. we can mitigate cancer, but we can not , nor would we want to eliminate. what is Cancer ? Firstly , cancer is not one thing to eliminate , it is a collection of many diseases that have a similar output. the development of mutated cells that divide uncontrollably and have the ability to infiltrate and destroy normal body tissue How does evolution work? Through natural selection , errors in cell duplication result in positive survival outputs. So Cancer can not and should not be eliminated ,as it will affect the evolutionary process. but could be mitigated. An addition to the big C issue there are all those little Cs that are popping all over the place, as neighborhood increase in size , there seem, to be one in every neighborhood. seriously, there is the additional problem that as life expectancy increases so do the number of cell divisions and consequently the chance of errors that could lead noncancerous cells. Anyway this is a take on the subject, I am sure there other and different takes. -
Kinky, but i am not judging

Is this the place to have a decent debate? Im lost,
sirineou replied to ChipButty's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I know , now crazies are forced to post threads like this on Asea now. A serious piece of journalism that should be taken seriously Shot by the best quality Iphone equipment and introduced by a guy in a white Fruit of the loom T-shirt and a backwards hat. I for one am impressed. Certainly a subject for serious debate. What kind of debate will we be using ? Empirical, Comparative, Model, or Abstract.? -
I season my cast iron pan First lightly oil the pan with canola oil. any oil would work but canola is best. place in oven for 30 minutes at 450-500 f take out let cool a little, oil again and repeat. Nothing will stick to it. PS: place the pan in the oven upside down, you don't want any oil pooling in an area and create an uneven coating.

Using a thai license for a U.K. rental car.
sirineou replied to Andrew Dwyer's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
They normally don't charge you credit card until you return the car. But they do put a hold on the security amount, so heads up, the credit limit available in your credit card is now less (minus the deposit hold) -
Browned nicely!! did you use a cast iron skillet?

There was a whole group of us who used to go skiing together, we were all also close friends. One of them Dave, a nice guy but not very bright also got his pecker on the zipper , not sure how with all the underwear and thermals etc we wore. Any way, afterwards we all called him Dave the zipper for ever , but he did not know why and asked why we called him that. My friend told him that we called him Dave the zipper because he zipped down the slopes. true story it must have run in the family, hIs sister Eileen ,Pretty little blond but dumb as a doornail also , which was fine by us , . Back then brains in a woman was not very high in our list. In fact the less the better Anyway we went canoeing down the Delaware river. It was a two day trip . A bus would take you to the top. canoe half way down, pull over to a campsite where we had left our cars, next day canoe the next half, and a bus would bought you back to your car in the middle camp . Bob landers is the campsite and canoe called if you ever find your way to the NY , Pennsylvania border. https://landersrivertrips.com/ Anyway, Long story short. and believe me it was a long story She showed up with tight Jordache jeans , which used to be the hottest thing back then . Real tight , it must had taken her half an hour and shoe horn to put them on. While cannoning we would often tip the canoe, consequently we were all soaked wet. She had to go to the bathroom , we pulled over to a small island in the middle of the river and she went in the reeds to do her business. Only afterwards she could not put her pants back on. First the girls tried on their own, to no avail. Then the guys were only too happy to help. Nothing overly sexual we were all laughing too hard. Oh to be young again.

Hmm. Funny you would say that, but come to think of it my sleep issues also started some time after I got a mild case of Covid . before that I never had a sleep issue , or even ever thought about it, Sleep was just a natural thing like breathing. Right after I read your post I googled it . and it turns out. "about 40% of people with Long COVID report sleep issues among their symptoms. Problems can include insomnia, daytime sleepiness, waking up several times a night, or not feeling refreshed in the morning " https://covid19.nih.gov/news-and-stories/understanding-sleep-problems-long-covid#:~:text=Research suggests that about 40,feeling refreshed in the morning. Not sure how that helps, but if long covid goes away after a while, there is also hope that this might go away if it is as a result of long covid

Ok The reason I ask, is because if you have a bank balance of let's say $10,000 and a credit card secured by your bank account that has a $1000 limit Them your bank balance would show as $10,000 but your available bank balance would be $ 9000 The one thousand dollars is held in reserve to cover your credit card. Kasikorn offers such a card to foreigners, I have one. If you want one you could probably get one. It does not affect you bank balance if used for visa extension purposes.

Swiss Expat Charged with Bodily and Mind Harm in Phuket Kicking Incident
sirineou replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Great defence, Because everyone knows that it's ok to abuse locals. LOL The man is an a-hole , I am sure this is not an isolated incident, this type pf behaviour does not exist in a vacuum. He makes us all look bad, make a public example of him. -
Not true God did not remove the people before they arrived because where would the jews get the maids and gardeners from ? But then god took it away from them and gave it to a lot of different people at different times. 'cause let's face it god is an indian giver. He gives and than he takes back. Would not trust him further than I can throw him . He gave me good looks about 30 years ago! and now look at me. As for the burning bushes, you need to put it into period specific context. No TV back then, wife was getting knocked up by god left and right, what's a man to do? Burning bushes was just about the only entertainment back then . that and goats . If you get my drift. 😜

It's a pain in the ass waking up in the middle of the night with the wife sleeping and having to to keep quite, I normally read for an hour or two utili I get to the point where what I read does not go in my brain and I have to re-read passages to understand them, and I know I am at the point where I can sleep again, I close my eyes and think about what I read to keep my mind from racing and before you know it I am asleep again, I was just concerned that I was not getting enough sleep. bit now that I see that most people in our age bracket are experiencing similar sleep issues, I feel a little better.
