But for you since you are employes , you have many more options. Go ask them, Dress nice,smile a lot and be polite, You will find them to be very accommodating

I think you might be noticing more. I think it is a function of not being able to say anything since you probably don't speak the language, It makes it that much more aggravating and as such more noticeable.
