It is called Non Na caffe but don't let the name confuse you it is a great restaurant. My favorite place to eat at in Khon Kaen https://www.facebook.com/Khonkaennonna/

I looked to see if there was a thread already, but we all know how good the search function in Asean Now is, Tired of talking about trump, Ukraine, Israel , or reacting to news articles posted by Webfact. We all live in Thailand and have many interests, and none of it is more central than eating . For many of us who don't live in the large metropolitan areas, Finding Western food is difficult . and necessity being the mother of invention, we try, with variable levels of success to make our own. I am always looking for ideas and something new to ear, So What are you cooking today? I am not only interested in what. you ate. But also a little bit about it, in case I wanted to try and make it myself. Lemon Chicken and potatoes In a bowl mix, a cup of olive oil, the juice of two small lemons (less if you don't like that much lemon) a couple of spoons of mustard, Oreganon , salt and pepper . Peal you potatoes, cut them in half. and each half in three parts. Toss the potatoes in the oil lemon mix so the they are evenly coated , take the potatoes out and place them in a baking tray leaving the rest of the oil mix in the bowl. Arrange chicken chicken parts as shown in the picture, pour the rest of the oil mix over the chicken parts and potatoes. brush some more mustard on the chickens , and last Salt and pepper over the chicken and potatoes. It is important to do the salt and pepper last, otherwise the oil lemon mix you pot over the potatoes and chicken would wash the salt and pepper off After you warm up the oven to 350 F turn the top burner off, and bake for about 1 hour, then turn the top burner on and bake for about 15 min, keeping an eye on it so that you don't burn the chicken skin . It is actually very easy to make and delirious. Looking forward to seeing some of your recipes.

Russian propaganda outlet RIA Novosti and Russian propagandas news agency TAS , But nothing from the Russian propaganda aviation administration the Russian propaganda or the Russian propaganda aviation industry or the Russian propaganda relatives of the victims. Were there any survivors? My emojis are not working probably the fault of the Russian propaganda emojis so I copied some no Russian propaganda emojis from the internet. The American internet not the Russia propaganda internet. Russian propaganda! -
Same here which is why I made raised beds. I am fortunate that not too far from me, is a farm that makes those green diamond fertilizer pellets , so I stop by and by their compost before they make it into pellets, It is actually pretty good . I also got a big load of cow manure that I mixed up with dirt and am leaving it there for a few months to get seasoned, I mix 1 part of that to 3 parts of .sandy dirt, and a bunch coconut husk grinded fine, and ,or rice husks to fluff the soil up, otherwise it packs like cement. There is a powder my wife buys that we put around the roots of new trees when we plant them, We also have a termite problem here. You right, the tomatoes for sale here are only good for cooking. That's why I got so excited when I finaly grew some, after many years of failures.

You get all these non Americans , who have a hard time finding the country on the map, and know next to nothing about internal politics, yet have a very strong opinion about what is and what is not happening there. I am tempted to go the the NZ subforum and start and interject myself in the great debate of "lamb? cheese? or both?" LOL

if trump gets the nomination, and is allowed to run in the general election, trump will forget all the bad things he said about Haley and she would become the best thing since white bread and possibly his VP choice. Nothing trump says really means anything, other than what he thinks his idiots want to hear.

While I was retired in Thailand, we decided to give Greece a try, I got as far as getting a Greek passport and ID card, but then I got to registering my wife and daughter and this was my second marriage, so I had to register the first marriage first , have my daughter from the first marriage register , then have the first marriage divorced , then register my current wife. To do all these I had to get long form marriage and birth certificates and have them apostle Certified by the US goverment) . Then transfer my pension to Greece which allowed me for 6% of it to enrollee in the national health system .Which wouldn't have been bad. In retrospect it would had been easier if I went in as A US citizen under an financially independent visa, but i went the citizenship route and now I had to build a family profile in Greece as a citizen. A lawyer would had done all this for me , but I still would have to get the documents and get them apostille. So I gave up thinking that Thailand was fine , and easy , and we can spend summers in Greece. But now things in Thailand might be getting complicated, so depending how things play out, we were talking that we might have to rethink the Greece option. Personally I don't think it will be that bad here in Thailand with the new tax law,, I don't think they are about to kill the golden goose so let's wait and see.

I don't know how things work here in Thailand but in the US if I remember correctly a person is assigned to be the executor, and such person has access to some funds while a will goes through probate, such as continued to pay mortgages , finances, and funeral costs. I am sure something similar must exist here also , otherwise if the deceased had a mortgage if it takes 6 months for a will to go through probate, the financed car would be repossessed , the house would be foreclosed . etc. Even for the dead life goes on LOL

We try to ride our bikes three or four times a week, we take the back roads because it is beautiful country and a lot safer from trafic. We also saw a goat for the first time last week. I would not mind having one, I understand they make great pets, but that would be the end of my veggie garden, Appropriately so, if I understood my wife correctly in Thai a goat is called Phæa, and is pronounced Bpaah

Where we are in Khon Kaen it is very hard to find tomatoes big enough to make stuffed tomatoes, and when you find ones that are big enough and you want to make salad , you don't need cucumbers because the tomatoes taste like cucumbers, LOL Next time you try to grow your own, start in October to avoid the rains, and when it is cooler and dryer. If you still have trouble try sterilizing the soil. Why sterilize the soil ? I have read that there are microorganisms in the soil in Thailand (nematodes) non-native tomatoes have no defence against Google , How sterilize the soil. It is recommended that you bake the soil for 20 min at 200 degrees, this should eliminate bugs but not cause chemical changes to the soil. Obviously I did not sterilize my soil ,(too much) and I am no expert , so I guess I was lucky .

New Thai Tax On Remittances??
sirineou replied to giogio's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
If I remember my university philosophy classes There was a theory attributed to Nietzsche. That was so long ago that Nietzsche was still alive. Anyway he theorized that there are two types of people, Masters, and slaves, The slaves developed all sort of rationalizations to explained why they are not masters. In Nikos Kazantzakis's controversial book the Last Temptation of Christ, on the cross as Christ is dying he is hallucinating. And he sees himself sitting on the front porch of his house , field golden with wheat, and his children happily playing with each other , thinking to himself " Good thing I gave up all this moralizing, and the idea of saving everyone else" And there my friend lay the rub. -
Using a concrete calculator it is easy to determine the amount of concrete used. Plenty of free ones online
