I service these fans all the time ,both wall and pedestal , it is easy 0nly 3-4 screws to loosen, all you need is a screwdriver and a bottle of Singer light oil, oiling the bearing on the fan side is easy ,just a few drops of oil and move the spindle around so oil penetrates , the rear bearing you have to turn the motor upside down to be able to drip the oil on to the bearing , Whole thing should take about 15 mins including washing the fan and cage , make sure to tighten good the back cage and fan . regards worgeordie

If you are in a position where you don't need your pension every week , I would get it paid into an account you have in UK ,or have a relative you trust ,and get it paid into their account , you can still let the pension people you are living in Thailand , but the interest rate offered are much better in UK , then if Government does the tax collection on overseas transfers , you could bring your pension in cash back here or if friend comes to visit ,get them to bring it , thereby evading / avoiding tax.? Websites in the UK are always , just about everyday reporting recalls on all manner of foods ,from having metal ,plastic, contaminated with something harmful , but living here 36 years I have never heard of one recall on any food item in Thailand , so either the food is VERY safe here ,or they just don't care ,the producers that is .... regards worgeordie

I don't know where you live , but I am in Chiang mai ,the wife was going to the market this morning ,so I said get me some nice tomatoes , she came back with 4 large ripe tomatoes still on the vine , 50 Baht she said she paid for them. look around the markets near you they may have some. regards Worgeordie

Foremost stopped selling milk a couple of years ago ? , they had been selling fresh milk in Thailand since the Vietnam war, as they were set up to supply the US armed forces , so it cannot be that profitable or they would still be doing it, I buy and use dried milk from NZ , reconstitute it with water ,and it's very good, 222 Baht and makes 7 ltrs , so 34 B ltr plus the bottled water,but I think it's much better milk anyway... regards worgeordie
