I think I know who it is.....
it's that guy who hates teachers but hangs around teacher forums. You know...the same guy that hates seeing farangs using those little green buses but uses them himself to carry around 5 million baht and then leaves it on the bus.
The same guy that hates the cheapness of backpackers but reads David Beckham's biography one chapter at a time in the bookshop cos he's to cheap to buy the actual book.
Although I could be wrong.

FFBEST-Forty,Fat,Balding,English Sex Tourists........usually inhabit the lower regions of the pattaya-walking St. delta swamp lands.
During the hot summers days they tend to lie low near sandy areas or beside hotel swimming pools but come out in the evening when you can hear and enjoy their unique swansongs.
Their pre-mating calls of " Cor! Cor! dem's nice little titties you have. Cor!" can also often be heard.

I would've thought that a lot of Thai men wouldn't have the financial means to support another man's child. Isn't this one of the most probable reasons for leaving a woman in the lurch holding a kid in the first place?
How many farangs living in Thailand would take on a wife with kids if he was making only 5-8,000b a month?

You can only get visas from embassies.
You can re-enter Thailand if you have another visa, if not, when re-entering Thailand you will be stamped in for a 30 day stay.

How about Ye Golden Olde ones from the dark ages(pre-internet) that were found on postal correspondence (non-email)?

If you're arriving at Terminal 2 then it's not really worth waiting for the connecting bus especially if you've just missed one.
Personally, if time is in my favour then a nice walk even from Terminal 1 to Domestic would surely be appreciated after a long flight.
Terminal 1 to Domestic...about 10 - 15 mins.
Also you may be lucky and catch the passenger buggy that goes back and forth along the passageway if you want that option.

If you're away in Thailand then there wouldn't be any garbage to 'put out', will there?
However, for a small fee I will sit on the doorstep every morning and tell the milkman "No milk today thanks".
Hey, what are friends for anyway

The Naga's image seem to be represented at a few temples. These are snake/dragon-like creatures.
Do a search for Naga - balls - fire. It should turn up something interesting.

I'm probably like you Pat, I've never tried golf 'cause I hate it.
Look on the bright side, while the guys are outside playing golf...you could be inside playing with their bored and neglected wives.

A plate cracked on one of my bikes and a guy in the shop said they could get a new one but, it would take about a month. I don't think they press them out at the Land and Transport Office.

Can anyone tell me please - how do I boil a kettle?
I prefer mine fried and stuffed with sardines but that's a different...errrmm...

I never plan to marry a hooker (bar-girl), so if we can limit the discussion to non-bar girls I think this becomes easier.
Perhaps it would easier still, if you didn't mention bar-girls yourself. Especially so soon after your statement.
It sure beats the horror stories I have heard from a few traveling friends about Thai wifes scamming the foreigner for all the money he has, keeping a secret Thai boyfriend, divorcing him (when the US greencard is in hand) and moving back to Thailand to stay with another sucker for money etc. I have heard several stories like this. (no joke) -
Longest Wooden Bridge in Thailand
Kan Win in Kan
Sangkhlaburi, Kanchan.
They've just completed another smaller bridge (not wooden) to meet up with the one in the pic. The new bridge starts just below the Burmese Inn.

Cool season looks like it's finally over. Now it's time for us Brits to really let loose with the weather moans.
Ok, I'll go first.
Frackin' 'ell it's starting to get bloody hot here. Can't wait for the cool season to come back again...grumble, grumble...mutter..mutter.....

Mukdahan is kind of so-so with me. Stayed in "Ploy Palace Hotel" the night before I stayed in NKP. Can't recall the price but if it was over 1,000b then I would have sought out somewhere else to stay. I would guess it to be around 800-900b. They have a rooftop restaurant (12-15 floors).
Scenery of Laos is flat. Muk has a view tower/museum that gives a nice panoramic view. Elevator was out of order and had to walk to the top and it knackered me up good style but it's well worth paying it a visit.

They are damned quick getting from one side of the city to the other. But occassionally you will get a bit of spray from the canal now and again.
I rarely used them because of the tight seating and my long legs. Also care has to be taken getting in and out of them. A few people have taken an unintended swim trying to get in and out of them, especially at rush hours.

there was some news on local TV last night that new aiport opens soon. my wife told me that Don Muan will not be main airport anymore.
any more exact info ?
With 300+ posts and you're from BKK....and last night is the first time you heard about a new airport???
Last I heard it was due to open around Sept. of this year.
That could be considered 'soon' because the new airport was in the planning stages for about 20(?) years.
It will be out on Bang Na Trad.

Try Nakhorn Phanom. Nice view of the karst mountains in Laos.
There're two hotels within walking distance with similar sounding names.
One is something like "The Maekhong River Grand View Hotel" and I think the other is "River Maekhong view Hotel". This latter one is newer and both are on the road that leads to That Phanom. The latter being the one closest to That Phanom.
I stayed here about 2 years ago and was good for the 900b per night.

What happened joey boy? Wasn't your girl as nice as you thought?
nope, I just think its pathetic that grown men bother with such activitys. I had a look on there today and some guy starts sending me pictures of a girl one of my friends met last week pretending that it was him.
You think this is sane behaviour?
I can only put it down too being the one way these loosers can get any attention from anyone, and considering the targeted audience is the same sex makes it even worse
I totally agree with you. I find it sad that people have to resort to chat rooms for pick ups. I use the old fashioned method of getting out into the real world and using the old method of eye contact and chat up.
My replies to the OP were to make him suspicious (hence responding with an 'Or do I?) that someone with a user name the likes of 'SugarBunny69' may not necessarily turn out to be the 18yo Thai chick that he thinks he's chatting to.

I think it's a 'twenties mentality.' Every twentyish year old person thinks they know it all and everyone else is an idiot, whether it's traveling, adjusting a carburator, programming computers or doing drugs. I remember when I was 22...........
You must have a good memory mbkudu!!!
Not if he's just turned 23....

Why do birds... suddenly appear... every time... you are near?
"Steven"
Right then...
How many roads must a man walk down.......before you call him a man?

I'll be coming up to Nong Khai next week to do a visa run to Laos.Looking at this forum and others it seems the choices for accommodation for a budget traveller are limited to possibly Mutmee and Sawasdee guesthouses. It sounds as though Nong Khai is mostly a transit point for thiose going to or coming from Laos.
Also for the few travelling the Issan loop from or to the North of Thailand.

Or BKKChat. It's great chatting on there posing as a horny girl and getting the guys worked up. OR DO I????Try ICQ Match and sort out the fakes.

You must have a lot of spare time on your hands
Way, way too much actually.

I voted 'Never' cos I reckon it would be covered up. Unless of course it was a really big bang then it would probably be downplayed to being a small bang.
This is just my theory.

If you pay them then yes. It's just the working environment that's different.
