  1. No. The only further extension possible would be an annual extension which is not what you are after.
  2. I don't think they need help, they are quite capable of blowing themselves up without assistance.
  3. Bizarre that it needs a "sting operation" to prove that it was actually operating as a hotel and not a very big private house.
  4. Here are the choices, Renew, Replace, First.....pretty easy to follow I would think.
  5. Indeed. UK HMPO for one...
  6. Just tried it on my laptop. No problem. Also tried on the HMRC app, also no problem. No VPN used.
  7. Rather well it seems. I wonder at what point they close it down?
  8. Upnotover replied to champers's topic in Pattaya
If you go to the Thailand News forum you can click on any Pattaya story and then you'll get all the recent stories in one view.
  9. In many countries you can apply online, then send your passport to the UK for renewal. The story in Thailand is that as it is a legal requirement to have your passport accessible at all times they accept a copy instead of the original passport. Presumably the copy has to be verified as such by VFS otherwise there would be no reason why you couldn't send it yourself. VFS also perform the cancellation of the old passport on collection of the new one.
  10. But....whatever you do.....don't staple them together.
  11. Because it's the only way anyone outside the UK knows it has been cancelled, unless declared lost or stolen when there is a chance it might be on a database.
  12. No! Do not enter visa exempt. You enter on the new passport but you show your re-entry permit in the old one and you enter on that permit. Make sure they stamp you in properly!
  13. Possibly. Although the actual problem seems to be with airlines. Perhaps a bit of guidance in their direction wouldn't go amiss.
  14. Not Morchit but I did the test at Bangkok DLT 1 (Bang Khun Thian) and they did have the machine. I passed with some difficulty.
  15. Here you go, down memory lane....
  16. Thai Farmers Bank became Kasikorn, not SCB.
  17. Tourist visa. Either get a single, 60 day entry, go somewhere nearby (Vietnam would be ideal) and get another, re-enter on another 60. Alternatively, a multi-entry tourist visa is available. Apply online here....https://www.thaievisa.go.th/
  18. No. It was done in the hour or so when my extension was being processed after submission of application. It was the 90 day report reminder that they give for the first extension.
  19. Genuine CW staple holes.....
  20. Briton from Milton Keynes dead after motorbike crash in T...Tiger Duggan had been receiving treatment at MedPark Hospital in Bangkok, his family says.
  21. Denied entering Thailand? Or?
