  1. Haha, I wish I was that young. No. I get this.....
  2. Likewise. It's barely newsworthy.
  3. Yes it did that before, not now And I did add those 2 years. But it never says anything about future contributions.
  4. But it doesn't. That's why I am wondering.
  5. Nope. With the 2 added years I got to 33. And I don't believe the forecast considers future payments, only those up till now. But I could be wrong.
  6. No part and I only keep the few I get deliveries in. Lazada sell them, easy.
  7. Also, plenty of options on Lazada I see.
  8. Villa send me stuff in real brown paper bags, and I always keep them for this reason. Maybe they also sell them?
  9. Yes I counted the years. It used to be 30 then now of course is 35. I have some idea that some people, like me, who were some how in the midst of the change got some concession. And as the system did respond to the 2 years I added I'm hoping that it is actually working. But maybe I'll have a stiff drink one day and make that call.
  10. It's not an app. Just go to the website. Works fine.
  11. None of those. But my then girlfriend had to be guarantor. However, that was some years ago and I'm certain it will be more difficult now.
  12. Good point that! I think I'd go for the 1 day premium service. I've done that before and you collect old and new together.
  13. I am still over a year from qualifying and my current online forecast shows a full pension entitlement, £230.25. Can I trust this? Several years ago I was, they said, 2 years short of contributions which I made up and the forecast did then change to reflect it. But I'm still only at 33 years, mostly pre-2006/7, and was contracted out at some point. I'm just wanting to avoid an unpleasant surprise come 2027.
  14. I see absolutely no reason not to add it. It might assist the IO on arrival in any case which can't hurt.
  15. No. It's only a form you fill in. Nobody checks or verifies the information. Visa number is also present on the TM6 form.
  16. No. It's the current and the next 3 days that can be entered.
  17. Might be an issue with that, or at least minimal services available.... In case of applying with a B-First ATM/Debit card, you can do the following: Check balance and account activity Transfer money between accounts linked to the card In case of applying with a credit card, you can do the following: View your card spending history for up to 3 billing cycles. View your Bualuang Thank You Rewards points For other services, you can apply for full service at ATMs or Bangkok Bank branches.
  18. It will be easy to solve when you are back. And if your number is registered to your Wife that wont be a problem as it is allowed as an exception to the rule. However, that wont help you now as you'll need to go into a branch with ID, etc. My inclination would be to call the bank - does the app have an internet call option (Kasikorn certainly does)? I have found the Thai bank customer service lines far superior to those of my UK banks.
  19. Your extension will be granted only until the expiration date of your passport.
  20. Reports on here have stated it's virtually instant. Anything else would be useless given that it can be done on arrival. Time will tell of course when it goes live.
  21. The instruction from the TDAC website says download or print; "8. Download the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. You can also download or print a copy from the email address provided for the duration of your stay in Thailand."
  22. The point being made was that getting a non-O (single) in your home country does not require a Thai bank account. And once you have entered with a non-O getting that Thai account for an extension is very easy indeed because you now meet the banks requirement.
  23. There have been lots of thread on this topic. All points have been addressed. In summary; State/City - Use the information from your passport. Thailand "residents" cannot enter Thailand in this field (yet). Same advice. Phone Number - The paper TM6 also asked for this. Nothing new, enter any number you like. The country code will default to that of your stated home country but that can be overwritten. Departure - this is optional information. Do not enter anything in this section. It seems they will accept the QR code on paper or on a "device". Note that it is not you that "uploads" the QR code, you simply display it for the immigration officer to read. And finally, for the unwilling and/or incapable, it can be done on arrival. There will be a facility for this. But is it is likely to be busy it is probably best avoided.
