  1. The true air temperature is not much different, what is different is the temperature you feel, maybe 10 degrees C above the shade temperature.
  2. Living room, fan blowing, balcony doors open.....
  3. If you meet the requirements... https://www.tourismthailand.org/Articles/plan-your-trip-vat-tax-refund
  4. I sometimes use mine for THB payments in Thailand. Works fine. Also contactless works here through Google Wallet. Very limited fee free cash withdrawals but I would never do that so not an issue for me. Also use for hotel and flight bookings from time to time.
  5. Now that is interesting. I have 100% for sure used Google Pay on my phone to pay in 7, using tap to pay. And that is using a UK debit card payment. But I recently tried to pay with my Kasikorn Debit card and couldn't but I was not able to understand what she tried to tell me was wrong. So what cards do they take, only credit cards? Did they previously not realise I was paying with a debit card? It's a bit bizarre for the most popular shop in the country.
  6. What's the hose guy doing, trying to put out the fire or "playing water"?
  7. Well the birth rate is about 675,000/year. Assuming that the average number of staff in the shops is 10 and they stay on average 3 years then that could be 145,000 staff churning at 48,000/year, that would be 7%.
  8. 90 Day resets the day you return. No need to do it until 90 days after your return date. It is simply a report that you have been in the country 90 days. TM30 does not need to be updated as you have returned on the same visa/extension, presumably to the same place. Some offices however might have a different opinion, TiT.
  9. Did you read the OP? He already tried to do it but can't as the funds were not maintained for the preceding 12 months. So he is going to use an agent. Oh, and whilst he could get an O-A in the UK that wouldn't be wise, but he could easily get a single non-O there rather than converting here, then extend.
  10. If you have any intention to go back to the UK any time soon then just get a non-O there, come back and extend. If not you will have to use your agent again. But if you do that next time you should be OK to do it by yourself provided you keep the money in the bank for 12 months (or actually 800-400-800).
  11. I think you'll be fine to come back in and convert to a non-O. Or maybe even better don't bother with a tourist visa and apply online for the non-O whilst in the UK - that way avoiding a trip to CW as well as avoiding any onward ticket nonsense. Ought not be any issues with your finances as all in place now for the initial extension.
  12. My reply was referring to WhatsApp and mine opens in Chats from which search will look for whatever you like across all the chats. I don't see a "home" tab, unlike in Line.
  13. Just click the search icon and it gives options of what to search for, one of which is 'Photos'
  14. WhatsApp will search all chats for pictures and then show them all in date order. Might be of some help.
  15. I think it's probably the best day of the year to drive anywhere. Anybody going anywhere is already there. But of course that will all change on 16/17th.
  16. You can enter up to the expiry of the visa and get 60 days, so if you wish you are good until early August, a 30 day extension could then be obtained.
  17. Probably because it's better to be banned on a plane going somewhere you want to go to rather than at the border in Cambodia/Laos.
  18. Seriously? Do you not have Grab/Bolt, etc. there?
  19. You don't need a return ticket, only an onward ticket. So, you could have booked a cheapo throwaway ticket to Phnom Phen within 30 days OR book a fully refundable ticket to anywhere (Malaysian to KL for example) OR a cheap rent-a-ticket. But seems you have already made the booking so any information now will only be of use next time.
  20. Strange. I booked a hotel on Agoda, in Thailand, yesterday and used a UK based MasterCard debit card.
