Beware pre june 1 thai pass.
ubonjoe replied to Marky Mark Mark's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The rule state you can do it up to 60 days. But I would suggest doing no more than 2 weeks early since things do change. It takes at the most 48 hours to get the approval now. -

Yes the 15 day visa on arrival is allowed. At this time you will need a Thailand Pass with at least 30 days of covid 19 insurance coverage of at least $10,000 of coverage. More info is here on the Thailand Pass site including a link for the insurance. https://tp.consular.go.th/home -
Quick Question Re: 30 Day Visa Free Entry

You can extend your 30 day visa exempt entry for 30 days at immigration without a problem. The airline can ask to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days. That can be a one way ticket to anywhere or you could get a temporary onward ticket online (search for onward ticket). -
They were sent out at this morning at 10:15.

Can You Get A SETV When On A STV?
ubonjoe replied to brotherother's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You would not have a valid STV after using it to enter the country the one time it allows. There would be nothing to prevent you from applying for a SETV. -

You could get a temporary onward ticket online for about $12. Do a search for onward ticket and you will find several sites offering them. -
Stupid question! Sorry!
ubonjoe replied to welshguy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
A single entry tourist visa allows a 60 day stay that can be extended for 30 days. For a 60 day stay you could enter visa exempt that allows a stay of 30 days that can be expended for 30 days. You could register on the e visa site early if you wanted to. -

Are you asking about 90 day reports of staying longer than 90 day in the country. As soon as leave the country you do not need to do one until 90 days after you arrive back in the country. -
Was it this topic.

Here are the requirements to apply for a 60 day extension of stay to visit your wife. Your wife will need to be with you. Copies of your passport photo page, visa or existing extension stamp and arrival stamp. Copy of TM6 departure card. Copies of marriage certificate, signed copies of wife's house book registry and ID card signed by her. Some offices may also want a copy of your Kor Ror 2 marriage registry recently updated by getting a printout of it at a Amphoe. -

ubonjoe replied to thairat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You cannot get a visa at a border crossing. You can get a 30 day visa exempt entry or use a multiple entry visa to get a new permit to stay in the country. I have seen no reports of anybody doing a crossing there yet. -
