  1. Yes But will only be a single entry for being the parent of a Thai unless they have changed their rule. Not needed. Info here: https://savannakhet.thaiembassy.org/th/publicservice/non-immigrant-visa-o-visiting-family-member-of-a-thai-nationality-a-sp?page=5d84a44c15e39c26b400453e&menu=5d84a44c15e39c26b400453f
  2. No info yet about the the covid 19 insurance yet in a news article. See the new article,
  3. It is in the news forum now. No need for 2 topics about it. This topic now
  4. I am not aware of how the cancel option will work since have not done it or seen any reports about doing it. I guess you could try doing it to see what will happen. To avoid errors after doing the your first report you can select to auto fill your application after entering your passport number and selecting your nationality by clicking the the magnifying glass symbol.
  5. I assume you mean a multiple entry non-o visa that allows unlimited 90 day entries for one year. Some embassies and official consulate issue them without a problem. There have already been reports of the consulate in Savannakhet Laos doing them.
  6. I think it should be printed and be put in your passport. I have been doing it since I have been able to online reports. I adjust the size of the receipt so it smaller to put in the back of my passport. I does state it should be in your passport.
  7. You could get a re-entry permit that includes the 30 day under consideration period if the report back date is after you current extension expires. It can depend upon when your local office starts the 30 days since some start it from the day you apply and other from the end of your current extension.
  8. You have to have at least 15 days remaining on your stay to apply for a non-o or any other non immigrant visa at immigration.
  9. There was re-entry permit desk there previously but not sure about it now. Probably best to get one at you local immigration office.
  10. It is a onward ticket provided by a online company. See onwardticket.com Yes You could also apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife for each 90 day entry to get almost 5 months of it.
  11. It closed in April. Ninety reporting is done at Chaeng Wattana.
  12. You do not need a ticket out of the country to apply for a Thailand Pass. If entering visa exempt you may be asked for a ticket out of the country by the airline. That can be a one way ticket to anywhere or a temporary onward ticket online for around $14.
  13. Laos is open for entries now. You could get a single entry non-o visa in Vientiane or Savannakhet where you can also get a multiple entry non-o visa.
  14. The problem with that is the 30 day under consideration period he will get when he applies.
  15. Get a re-entry permit and as soon as you return apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife.
  16. No You would not be able to use your UK passport that has your re-entry permit in it. As soon as you entered with your other passport it would no longer be valid.
  17. You should be able to enroll a Thai language school and apply for a non-ed visa and then a extension of stay. I don't think the education ministry would have records you attending a school in the past.
  18. Are you doing it on the new online site or the mobile app. New site: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login I think you are using the mobile app since the new site only has one page to complete.
  19. If you were given one to complete by the airline then you would be able to complete it. If not then I am not sure where you could get one to complete. If they are not being given out by the airline when you travel I am sure your local immigration office would know that they are not required anymore.
  20. That is just a pedant office want them to completed by hand. Unless you go to a unofficial immigration website the forms are up to date. The TM47 form has never been changed in many years. TM7 form for a extension was changed in 2017 as well as the TM8 for re-entry permit form.
  21. The new 90 day report date will be 90 days from the day you submitted the report online.
  22. Moved to the Australia sub forum on the home country forum.
  23. A RT-PCR test is more accurate than a ATK (antigen test kit). ATK's are normally used for self testing which is not allowed to meet the entry requirements.
  24. You need to read more in the topic where that was posted. He was using the mobile app that does have problems. As I wrote in that topic that problem will not occur if using the new site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login I normally print out a completed TM47 form after changing the date on it for a in person report incase they want it. I have not had to do one in person for over a year now and that was when the online reporting system was down for a couple of months.
