  1. At most immigration offices you would only need your passport and a completed TM47 form. Have you had a TM30 form submitted to that office?
  2. The Mae Sai crossing is not on the list of entry points on the Thailand Pass site.
  3. The Mae Sai crossing is not on the list for getting a Thailand Pass required for entry.
  4. They moved the 90 day reporting to Chaeng Wattana last month. You do the report up to 15 days early but that can include the report date in the account. Best to just think of it as 2 weeks before the report date. When doing it in person you can do the report up to 7 days after the report date.
  5. Since you mentioned 400k baht I assume you are married to or the parent of a Thai. You could get single entry non-o visa that that would allow a 90 day entry that you could extend for 60 days allowing a total stay of about 5 months. After that you could leave and re-enter the country to get 30 day visa exempt entry.
  6. Laos entry requirements from a earlier topic about it.
  7. It will not be disproved. If the application is accepted it will be approved. I don't recall a report of one being denied at the end of the under consideration period.
  8. Here one that is open 24 hours a day for antigen tests at Suvarnabhumi. It is done while you wait for the result. Google Map of the location within the airport. https://goo.gl/maps/1jJZ4UR4fJpgq5e18
  9. Even being able to get single entry non-o visa would be worth the trip to be able to stay here longer. Combined with a 60 day extension to visit their wife or child would allow to total stay of 150 days.
  10. The wording is not that clear. "Applicants must apply for a new passport prior to the expiration of the old passport or when the validity of the passport is less than 6 months." I think that is meant to be advice and does not mean they will not issue a new passport. A Google translation of the info in Thai does not say that. See: https://sydney.thaiembassy.org/th/publicservice/thaipassport20up
  11. There might others reading this topic that can get proof of income from their embassy and think they could not use it.
  12. You would need to prove your annual income to use the combination option. Can you prove your annual income by way of proof from your embassy or 12 months of transfers into a Thai bank. This from the immigration order for extensions.
  13. I was trying to help you understand what I was stating. You mentioned topping up your bank account to 800k baht and that is not using the combination option. Any funds you add to your account to reach the 800k baht total has to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply.
  14. You left out number 6 and 7. But it is only for those who can get the proof of income from their embassy or consulate.
  15. The money in the bank for 2 months and income part are 2 separate things. You have to have a enough income for a year and money in the bank to reach a total of 800k baht. For example if you had 600k baht in a Thai bank it would need to be in the bank for 2 months when you apply and a annual income of at least 200k baht to reach a total of 800k baht.
  16. Or the official Thai consulate in Sydney. Only the honorary consulate were closed.
  17. If using the money in the money in the bank option it will have to be 800k baht for 2 months on the day you apply.
  18. It appeared you were using the combination option for the first time. You will only need to prove you kept the money in the bank you used with income for the extension application for 3 months.
  19. A single re-entry permit only costs 1000 baht. I think it would be best to get the one year extension of stay. How long will you be in the UK?
  20. The OP wrote this. It seems his 90 days will end before he needs to leave the country.
  21. 1. The exchange for the bank writing the letter confirming your account and the balance on the day apply. Best to use a low rate to calculate the amount needed a couple of months before you apply for the extension to determine if you have enough for the combination option. 3. I can only state what the rules state. Are you writing about going to immigration 3 months after you applied to prove your balance. I was writing about proof of the balance for past year when applying. For topping up your account to 800k baht I would calculate the exchange rate well below the current rate.
  22. 1. On the day the bank does the letter confirming your account they will calculate your balance using the exchange for the day the letter is written. 3. The money in the bank will need to be in the bank for 2 months on the day your apply for the extension of stay. If you are extending a existing extension of stay you will also show proof that you kept at least 800k baht for 3 months after you applied for it an then a least 400k baht up to the day your apply if using the combination option. You will need proof of your total annual income by showing the transfers came abroad and you will also need a letter from the bank confirming your account. You will need a one year bank statement to prove your annual income.
  23. When she enters using her expired Thai passport she will be stamped in as a Thai. Then when leaving the country she would use her new Thai passport. Not sure why she would think she would be fined for a overstay since she did not use her UK passport for entry to Thailand.
  24. Yes There is no requirement to prove the funds came from abroad for a extension of stay based upon retirement.
  25. Yes But it only has to be in the bank on the day you apply.
