  1. The online report site is not tied to main immigration system. You can just ignore the notice email you were sent. You will do your next report 90 days from the day you arrived within the 2 week window to do it . Be sure you change your arrival date on the online reporting site.
  2. I don't think one would be accepted that was done at a embassy or consulate in another country. Also not sure a embassy or consulate outside of Thailand would do one.
  3. Requirements are here on the Vientiane website. https://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/ประเภทวีซ่า-types-of-visa/ Appoinment are done here. https://thaivisavientiane.com/# Note it requires a police clearance. Savannakhet is here. https://savannakhet.thaiembassy.org/th/page/cate-9736-types-of-visa?menu=5d84a44c15e39c26b400453f
  4. It would only be once a year so I don't think it would be that big of a burden. Ninety day reports could be done online or by mail.
  5. If one was sent and not delivered you may get a 2nt notice this month. When they mailed them in the May before the 2nd notices were sent in late September or early October.
  6. A family member can do the extension application and with a power of attorney they can get the bank letter and etc needed from the bank.
  7. She could apply for a one year extension of stay for being the parent of a Thai. But she would need 400k baht in a Thai bank. First she would need to get a non-o visa. She could also apply for non-o visas and then a 60 day extension to visit her child of the 90 day day entry from the visa.
  8. Not visa or extension related. Moved to the travel forum.
  9. Are you using your address here in Thailand for the SSA? If not that is why you have not gotten one. I have received one in July.
  10. The normal marriages certificate is needed and is a Kor Ror 3. Most embassies and consulates do no require the Kor Ror 2 marriage registry for visa applications. Immigration does want a updated Kor Ror 2 for a extension application.
  11. Requirements for a non-o visa is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf I assume you actually have visa exempt entry not a visa on arrival.
  12. You first need to apply for a non-b visa at immigration. The during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay allowed you could apply for a one year extension.
  13. I assume you are applying for a non-o visa based upon retirement at a embassy or consulate. That may because the non-oa visa now requires $100,000 or 3 million baht of coverage. You should be able to find insurance in the amount for the non-o visa. Requirements follow. "2.6 Applicant must be medically insured for the entire period of stay in Thailand with the following coverage:– Outpatient benefit with a sum insured of not less than 40,000 THB, and– Inpatient benefit with a sum insured of not less than 400,000 THB" Edit: You could apply for a non-o visa at immigration after entering with a tourist visa or visa exempt that does not require any insurance.
  14. Both location issue tourist visas. Only the Kuala Lumpur embassy has a list of requirement on their website. See: https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/n3gTFT2TOE/TOURIST_VISA_(TR)-new.pdf Penang has nothing on the their website other than the application form. When you click for visa info it takes you to the home page. https://penang.thaiembassy.org/th/publicservice/114490-visa-requirements-ii
  15. Only if he had a tourist visa would he be able to stay for about 90 days with a 30 day extension of the 60 day stay it allows. A visa on arrival (VOA) can only be applied for by those from about 18 countries. The US is not one of them.
  16. Whether or not you have more than one home visit depends upon the office you apply at.
  17. You should check with or apply for a extension at your local immigration office
  18. Any work done in Thailand requires a work permit. If working at home online it is a grey area and many people do it without a work permit. If married to a Thai you and your wife could set up partnership and you could get a work permit and work as subcontractor for your employer.
  19. Not sure the consulate in Hoi Chi MInh city does a non-o visa based upon retirement. It is not shown on their website. See: https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/page/cate-7436-type-of-visas-|-các-loại-visa?menu=5d80ab3315e39c2fe800a799
  20. They do but still charge the 1900 baht fee. The application has to accepted and the fee paid before they do the 7 days.
