Insurance for extension of Non-OA
ubonjoe replied to Lim Yuan Hai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You would have to leave and re-enter the country without a re-entry permit. You could get a visa exempt entry by doing a border hop and then apply for the non-o visa at immigration. Or go to a nearby embassy or consulate to apply for the non-o visa -

ubonjoe replied to Barley's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is the letter from the bank confirming your account and the balance when it is written not a bank statement. A update of you bank book would be done on that day. A one year bank statement could be older than the day the letter is done. -

Changing Banks between Non-O and Extension
ubonjoe replied to Barley's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You apparently in the 2 months before you apply for a extension of stay period. Best not to change banks now. You should not need to show a bank statement since you are now on the 90 day stay from the non-o visa. If anything you would on need a 3 month bank statement that be obtained while you wait at the bank when get the letter confirming your account. You could change banks 3 months after you apply for the extension. -

Tourist visa for Thailand in Kuala Lumpur?
ubonjoe replied to coralia's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You apply for the 30 day extension at immigration for a fee of 1900 baht. Passport and copies of the photo page and entry stamp. Plus a completed TM7 form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached. -
When you apply the you will get a under consideration stamy to report back in 30 days while it is being approved by the immigration division headquarters over the office where you apply at is under. Not all offices want to check that the 400k baht is still in the bank. There is no requirement to do that for a extension based upon marriage or being the parent of a Thai. You can take all of 400k baht out after you have your extension stamp. Then it will need to be in bank for 2 months on the day you apply for the next one.

60 day extension to visit spouse and family
ubonjoe replied to mamagolf's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You will have to apply for the normal 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry before applying for the 60 day extension. You wife will need to be with you when you apply for the 60 day extension Marriage certificate plus a copy of it. Some office may also want a copy of the Kor Ror 2 marriage registry. Signed copies of your wife's ID card and house book registry. Copy of your passport photo page and entry stamp. -

Tourist visa for Thailand in Kuala Lumpur?
ubonjoe replied to coralia's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
There is no written limit by air. By land it is 2 per calendar year. I would say they are more liement by land than air. By air it can depend upon how far apart you entries are. Thay watch for those that just leave the country and then return shortly after leaving. -
