  1. I don't think it would be a problem if your arrived a a couple of days late after the insurance was to start.
  2. Yes they do issue one. If you apply for your passport here the letter will be given to you when you pick up your passport at the VFS office. Source: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/notarial-and-documentary-services-guide-for-thailand#services-we-provide-in-thailand
  3. You should do the TM30 report shortly after you arrive at your residence.
  4. You will need to do a TM30 report due to having a new visa when you enter the country.
  5. You can apply for the extension up to 30 days early for 45 days at some offices.
  6. Yes you would unless your embassy will provide a proof of income document.
  7. What does the Khet want translated? Only if someone wants a certified copy of your passport would it need to be done at a embassy.
  8. You need to go to a translation service to get the translation done. There are some near the Department of Consular Affairs building. There is another location to do it as well. https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/สถานที่ให้บริการรับรองนิติกรณ์เอกสาร
  9. Translations are certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA that is on Chaeng Wattana Road. Info can be found here. https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/publicservice/ขั้นตอนการรับรองเอกสาร Do you already have a translation that needs to be certified?
  10. You only need 30 days of covid 19 insurance. You do not have to have it for the length of your extension.
  11. That was for a Non-OA visa application. The embassy and the official consulates are issuing single entry non-o visa for retirement now. Info here on the embassy website. https://thaiembdc.org/2020/11/17/nonoretirement/ You will only need 90 days of the insurance requirements mentioned.
  12. It may be possible to at the local Khet (Bangkok) or Amphoe to get a Kor Ror 11 to prove you are his legal father. Not everything has to be done where a child is registered in a house book. You son will have to be with you when the application is done.
  13. He can apply for non-o visa at immigration and then during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay the visa allows he could apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement. Requirements for the non-o visa application is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf The problem he may have is proving his income for the non-o visa application. If can get proof of his income from his embassy it would not be a problem using the income option. If not then he would not be able to prove his income by way of transfers into a Thai bank from abroad to apply for the visa. Even getting the extension application done can be a problem without proof of income from a embassy. He might need one year of transfers of at least 65k baht dependent upon how long he has been here and the office where he applies.
  14. You are missing the point of this topic. The rules are changing on May 1st and the Thailand Pass site will start accepting application for the changes on the 29tn. Hard to plan ahead for something like that.
  15. You could enter visa exempt and then apply for a non-o visa that would allow a 90 day stay and then during the last 30 day of it apply for the one year extension based upon marriage. How difficult it would be to get a single entry non-o visa would depend upon where you apply for it at. Some embassies and official consulates are using the e visa site that is done entirely online now.
  16. That would be done at the Laksi office. If he applies for that one it would be done at Chaeng Wattana immigration since it is to visit his wife.
  17. I cannot think of anything you can do other than change you flight date or enter with a new non-o visa and start all over again. Your under consideration period is really 30 days but it starts from the day your current extension ends. The 60 days you mention is due to applying 30 days before your extension ends. Maybe you get luck and Division 4 will do the approval before you leave the country. Korat immigration might be able get them to get it done early.
  18. It is a Kor Ror 11 that a Amphoe issues after it is proved you are the legal father of you child. The normal minimum age to get one done is 7 years old. I have heard of some Amphoes doing it when a child is a little younger. A Kor Ror 11 is also issued after you are declared the legal father of your child by a family court.
  19. It would not be the same. There is no written requirement to keep doing the transfers after you apply using the income option proven by transfers into the country for the past year. If you cannot meet the 65k baht transfer requirements you can use the money in the bank option or the combination option if short for the annual income. If using the money in the bank option it is in the written in the rules you must maintain the funds in the bank as per the immigration order.
  20. They got it wrong. This from clause 2.18 of immigration order 327/2557 states. Note there is no mention of being a custodian.
  21. You can stay at home and apply for a visa to the official Thai consulate in LA online now. It is done completely online now and you will get a stickerless visa by email. See the e visa website. https://thaievisa.go.th/ They are issuing the multiple entry tourist visa (METV) now.
  22. Since this the same topic you posted yesterday I have merged your 2 topics.
  23. If your child is 7 years old or over you can legitimize your parenthood at a Amphoe. If not you will have to do it at a family court that can take a very long time. See this pinned topic on the Family and Children forum.
