  1. Only if you are living in certain countries and Thailand is not one of them.
  2. The announcement I read had a TM27 form attached to it. They basically did away with most of the requirements on the TM28 form and left only the change of address that the TM27 form is for. Many offices still use the TM28 form for a change of address. But most offices will accept a TM30 form for a change of address. There is no longer a requirement for a change of address unless it is a long term change. Hotels and etc that do a TM30 report does not change your address.
  3. Mailing the report 15 day before is not in the written rules. Chaeng Wattana will accept them if received within 7 days before the report date. Many people have had them approved after the 7 days as well.
  4. A RT-PCR test would not be required when entering Thailand on the first 1st of April or after.
  5. How quickley approval is done depends upon the office the report is submitted to. Some do them quickly while others can take as much a 5 business days for approval. You have to remember the approvals are only done during normal working hours and days that immigration is open.
  6. Not sure where you are getting your info. Starting in February of 2020 they revived the TM27 form that is only for reporting a change of address. It is no longer required to use a TM28 form to report staying in another province for more than 24 hours. The change to the TM30 reporting went into effect on June 30th of 2020. If on a extension of stay or long stay visa there is no longer a requirement to do a TM30 report unless you change your address. The only time a TM30 report is needed when you enter the country with a new visa.
  7. Covid 19 has made it more of an effort to enter thee country but is is much less than it was in the past. If fully vaccinated you only need to stay in a hotel for 1 night to get covid 19 test and then you go where you want to. After 5 days you need submit a negative antigen test.
  8. That would be the required RT-PcR test before arriving here that is still in effect until April first.
  9. It will only accept one upload. You need to combine every page into one file.
  10. Some airlines may still require the covid 19 test before boarding the flight to here. I am not aware of any insurance company requiring the test. Even if the airline and Thailand does not require the test before traveling to here I think I would do at a least a antigen test before traveling to be more certain you are not infected and testing positive when arriving here,
  11. He was referring to the 90 day report date not being tied to the day your extension ends. Applying for a extension does not reset the 90 day reporting date for example. That is about the only way they are tied together since immigration can and may check that your 90 day reporting is current. I not they would fine you 2000 baht.
  12. Does she have a card for the 30 baht insurance scheme. You might try attaching that instead of insurance.
  13. What you need is a letter from the institution stating the date you will no longer be studying there to cancel you current extension of stay so you can apply for new one with supporting documents from the the new school or a monastery. It is in a immigration regulation that I have no access to.
  14. Go through the steps here to get the official info for applying here. https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports
  15. It depends upon the embassy website that you are looking at. This one includes the parent under the same heading as the child. https://thaiembdc.org/2020/07/11/visa_coe_education/ On others it would be shown as a family member of the person that has the non-ed visa.
  16. There are ongoing discussions about not requiring a RT-PCR test before entering the country but it has not been finalized. I think you should plan on getting the test done.
  17. The owner could also register to do the TM30 report online. See: https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/ Info for doing by in person for by mail is here. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/notification-of-residence/
  18. If you enrolled in a school and was able to get the correct supporting documents they could have a non-ed visa issued at a embassy for official consulate. And you could then a apply for a single entry non-o visa for being their parent. A guardian visa does not exist. The wording parent and family member is not used by the MFA and immigration. Immigration does not normally issue non-ed visas or for parents of a child.
  19. I don't think you have to give any reason for a multiple entry tourist visa. On the e visa site it does no show the multiple entry option for a non-o visa until you start doing the application and it depends upon where your are applying for it
  20. Certified means they have to be signed and dated by the person that the document is for. For example your wife would have to sign and date copies of her house book registry and ID card. The embassy in London would want them signed as well.
  21. There is no written minimum age for a child to apply for a non-ed visa or a extension of stay based upon attending school. One parent per child can apply for a non-o visa or a one year extension of stay based upon being the parent of a child attending school. To apply for the extension requires 500k baht in a Thai bank for 30 days for the first extension and then 90 days after that.
  22. Perhaps it would help if you checked the immigration Division 1 website for info that is responsible for Bangkok. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/home_en/ The main office is Chaeng Wattana immigration. TM30 reports are done at the temporary office at Muang Thong Thai. He going to do it by mail or in person?
  23. Have you tried the email and all the number shown on this page. https://medium.com/thailand-pass/where-do-i-contact-for-thailand-pass-support-1636daadc180
  24. Immigration came out with a guidance for visa exempt entries several years ago. It was basically to watch for people doing them to live here long term. Your history at this time does not fit that guidance. That was started before the land border crossing entries were limited to 2 per calendar year.
