  1. But has the company making Novax applied to the Thailand CDC for approval and use of it? I suspect that is the real problem now.
  2. When on extensions and using a re-entry permit the next report it is due 90 days from the day you enter the country. If changing offices it would normally be due on the day the existing report is due. There are several offices that only do the report date to the day your extension ends. It does not matter whether it is in person or online.
  3. That is what the visa allows when you enter the country. It does not include the two 90 day extensions you can apply for at immigration here after arriving.
  4. Probably when the WHO approves it. I wonder if the company producing Novavax has submitted the paperwork for it to be approved here.
  5. The embassy will send a letter for the stamp transfer with your old and new passports to use at immigration.
  6. It is not a problem to start the application for a Thailand Pass before leaving the country. Many others have done it. When you start the registration process select returning to Thailand.
  7. If Citibank can provide proof that the transfers came from abroad. The rules state if you recently arrived with a non-o visa 2 or 3 transfers of 65k baht from abroad should be accepted. But the rules are a bit vague about doing it. The office where you apply could take in consideration your previous stay here and deny your application.
  8. There is no 6 month rule for extensions or anything else at a immigration office. The extension would still be issued to the day the passport expires.
  9. It is not accepted yet. Source: https://ddc.moph.go.th/idcp/ Also shown here under the following heading. https://consular.mfa.go.th/th/content/thailand-pass-faqs-2
  10. That depends upon the office you ask for the new card at. Many do not want a police report for the lost TM6 form.
  11. Your non-o visa will still be valid. Immigration cannot cancel it. You need to be sure an put your re-entry permit number on your arrival card in the visa space. If they used the non-o visa it would technically cancel your extension but immigration might correct the error. Always check your stamps before leaving arrival immigration area to sure everything is correct. Much easier to get it fixed there than later.
  12. Yes This from the embassy website fee page. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84398-visa-fee?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5f4b6eb3f6ae4b236972c562
  13. Since they do not staple the the departure card in the passport it might gotten lost somewhere. You can request a new one at immigration in Chiang Mai.
  14. Thanks Ubon.....however, the new Aussie passport is as clean as a whistle. Did you check the old one. It might be on the last couple of pages of the new one.
  15. Yes they will accept the application at the embassy in Phnom Penh. Requirements are here: https://phnompenh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-b-visa-to-work-or-conduct-business-in-thailand?page=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a1&menu=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a2
  16. The Australian embassy does a stamp in the new passport stating it is a replacement for the old passport and its number on it. No letter needed.
  17. At most offices you could apply for the 30 day extension and the non-o visa during the same trip to immigration. Requirements for the non-o visa is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf There is no insurance required for a non-o visa or the extension of the entry from one based upon retirement. It is only needed to apply for a Non-OA visa or the extension of the entry from one. Apparently a mix up of the types of visas used to enter the country.
  18. Not directly related to visas ore extensions. Moved to the Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao forum.
  19. A visa exempt entry is not a tourist visa. Some people call it a visa waiver and etc. You just arrive and get stamped into the country if you are from certain countries.
  20. You cannot do the report online after the report date. It can only be done in person. I was only trying to make it clear there is no fine for being late until after the 7 days.
  21. You cannot apply for a OA visa while in the country. You can apply for a non-o visa at immigration and then during the last 30 days you the 90 days the non-o visa will allow you could apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement. To apply for the non-o visa the 800k baht only has to be in the bank on the day you apply and the for 2 months on the day you apply for the one year extension. There is not insurance requirements to apply for the non-o visa or the extension of stay. You will need at least 15 days remaining on the 30 day extension of your 30 day visa exempt entry to apply for the non-o visa.
  22. The requirements to apply for the non-o visa is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/6.FOR-PROVIDING-SUPPORT-TO-OR-BEING-A-DEPENDANT-OF-A-THAI-CITIZEN-SPOUSE-VISA-NON-O.pdf
  23. I think she was mixing up a 60 day covid 19 extension and a 60 day extension to visit you wife. A letter from your is embassy is certainly not a requirement to apply for a extension. Go back to immigration and try to talk to somebody else.
  24. You could get a total stay of about 120 days by entering visa exempt that allows a 30 day stay that can be extended for 30 days and then 60 day extension to visit your or child. Applying for tourist visa or a non-o visa on the e visa site can take as much as 2 weeks to get the stickerless visa sent to you by email.
  25. Either the husband or wife can apply for the one year extension based upon retirement and then the other one can apply for a one year extension for being a member of the their family without any financial proof. On the one applying for the extension based upon retirement has to show financial proof.
