  1. You will get a 30 day visa exempt entry. A visa on arrival is only for 15 days. Just saying this so you don't line up for a visa on arrival at the airport. You go to the normal arrival desks. As said a 30 day extension of the 30 days can be applied for.
  2. I can do that using online or mobile banking.
  3. A tourist visa issued by a embassy or consulate allows a 60 day permit to stay when using it to enter the country that can be extended for 30 days. The visa is valid for the 3 months from the date of issue to use fore entry. See: https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/zE6021nSnu/3_Types_of_Visa_Tourist_Visa.pdf A STV (special tourist visa) that allows a 90 day entry that can be extended twice for 90 days is still available. A single entry tourist visa is often referred to as SETV. If your family is Thai (wife or child) you can apply for a non-o visa that allows a 90 day stay at a embassy or official consulate or at immigration if you can qualify or it. Then you could apply for a one year extension of stay at immigration.
  4. I found this one on another Thai embassy website that uses the e visa. https://thaiembdc.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Declaration-form-for-visa.pdf
  5. Immigration does not care about you having a yellow house book. Some offices will not even accept it for proof of address. Same at some DLT offices when applying for a drivers license or registering a car. I think the law they are referring to was only a ministerial regulation done by the interior ministry allowing them to be issued. I doubt very much if there is any mention in it about immigration requirements set in the immigration act of 1979.
  6. You would have to apply for the extension based upon retirement on the day your current extension is canceled. You will need a termination letter from your employer stating the last day you will be working. You can go to immigration before that date and immigration will post date the cancelation to that day. There is no grace period after the cancelation date. Canceling you work permit does not automatically cancel your extension.
  7. They will not process the payment for the application until it has been reviewed for approval or disapproval. If you do not want to deal with the online application for non-o visa you could enter visa exempt and apply for a non-o visa at immigration. You would need 400k baht in a Thai bank in your name only on the day you apply. If you need more time than the 30 day exempt entry and the 30 day extension of it you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.
  8. Using an agent would not block you from doing a online report unless they are using a different address than you are when submitting the report. You should wait a few days to get the approval of your report. It might take 5 days or more at some offices. I assume you used the new online reporting site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login You will not be fined unless the report is done more than 7 days after the report date.
  9. Not sure why that is in the requirements on the e visa website. That is the amount needed for a non-o visa for retirement. That is equal to about 400k baht or little over at this time. You could try it with only 1000 pounds in the bank and it might be approved. Another thing that is wrong on is the covid 19 insurance. Only $20,000 of insurance is required to get a Thailand Pass.
  10. This topic just several posts shorter after I removed several off topic posts meant to deflect the topic and the expected replies to them. Several were also just bickering and baiting as well. Time to end it or this topic will be close and/or warnings given.
  11. I don't think they will create a problem for entering without a booster shot. Two is enough in most cases since they are not requiring the booster yet for such things. If needed I think there is an arrangement possible to get a the ATK done.
  12. I assume she is not on a 90 day entry that non-b visa allows. I think she probably has one year extension based upon working or teaching. If you got married she could apply for a extension for being a member of your family on the day her current extension is canceled on the date on a termination letter from her employer.
  13. There is no 30 day tourist visa. A tourist visa issued by a embassy allows a 60 day stay when you enter the country. If you only got a 30 day visa exempt entry you can extend it for 30 days. I don't understand why the embassy did not issue a non-o visa for being a member your wife's family. Immigration will not issue a non-o visa as a member of your wife's family. Look at this list to confirm that. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=2537
  14. What embassy will you be apply for the non-b visa. Be sure you have all the required documents such as you work permit and etc that is technically invalid if if you previous extension of stay is invalid. You first 90 day report will not be due until 90 days after you apply for a new extension. A address for a where you are staying will be needed for the extension application. That is the address you should be using for 90 day reports online after the first one is done.
  15. Here is the list of requirements for a single entry tourist visa from the embassy website. https://phnompenh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/tourist-visa-tr?page=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a1&menu=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a2 People were having problems with back to back tourist visa application before covid 19. I don't think you will have a problem getting one now.
  16. The e visa has been in use since June of 2019. The list for a STV on the embassy website and it is out date and incomplete since it came from the immigration website. The list on the e visa website is not complete until you start the application. https://thaievisa.go.th/ Here is the requirements from another embassy website. https://thaiembdc.org/2020/12/10/stv/
  17. You need many documents other than you marriage certificate to apply for a one year extension based upon marriage. Here is my general list of requirements. Marriage Extension Requirements 2.pdf
  18. That is false info. Having a yellow house book and pink ID card does not mean you do not need to report your address to immigration or do 90 day reports.
  19. You are pushing it todo it on the last day. Waiting for 24 hours is not very long to wait. You can leave the country without a problem. Immigration at airports do not check for 90 day reports. It is still 15 days before to 7 days after the report date. You will be leaving within the 7 days so that is not a concern.
  20. Only a proof of being fully vaccinated or a recent ATK test done and a completed form is needed to enter the building. Nothing related to covid 19 is required when you apply for a extension of stay.
  21. Having a tourist visa entry is one of the requirements to apply for the non-o visa. But a non-o visa for being a family member of a person on a retirement extension is not listed as one that can be done. That is why a agent may be able to arrange it.
  22. Rembert if the wait days would not include a weekend since immigration would not be working. If you don't get approval soon you should submit anther report.
