  1. If you have a new passport that was issued here and have stamps to transfer you need the letter from the embassy unless you want to carry both passports all the time. If you only have a entry stamp from after entering visa exempt immigration would transfer that stamp to your new passport.
  2. You work permit has nothing to do with your stay in the country. Immigration would grant the 7 day to days to leave the country if you applied for any extension of stay after you paid the 1900 baht fee and it was denied.
  3. You will not be able to apply for a non-o visa at immigration if you entered with a STV. The rules stats it cannot be changed to a different visa. You can apply at the Thai embassy in Canberra or the official consulate in Sydney for a multiple entry non-o visa. Info on embassy webiste. https://canberra.thaiembassy.org/non-immigrant-visa-category-o/
  4. But why would anybody apply for one if they did not intend to apply for an extension. Lots of paperwork and etc to apply for one.
  5. That will not happen on the new site. That came up during the pre approval when you submitted the first step of the application when submitting page one. The new one only as one page to complete and you will always be able to submit your report. The mobile apps still have the preapproval and the old online site redirects you to the new site when you try to do application on it.
  6. For a non-o visa based upon marriage they can be applied for at a Thai embassy or consulate or at immigration. For retirement s some embassies and consulate will issue a non-o visa or it can be done at immigration. I think you are confusing extensions of stay and visas.
  7. Was that when you were using the new online appointment system or the old one used in Bangkok.
  8. The majority of hotels will do the TM30 report online. Ask them to printouts a screenshot proving the report was done. If they want want the affidavit they will give one to you to complete if you are applying for a 60 day covid 19 extension.
  9. I would depend upon how it is shown on the your criminal record check if at all. I some countries you can get a check for a criminal record online.
  10. The problem could be entering Singapore. Do some research. Also check with them about their current requirments are look here on their website. https://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/instructions-for-visa-application Probably easier to get one at the embassy in Phnom Penh Cambodia. I aware of a person getting a non-o visa there recently. See: https://phnompenh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-o-visa-thai-family?page=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a1&menu=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a2 Edit: I missed that you want a multiple entry non-o visa that is valid for a year. I don't think you will be able to get one at any nearby location at this time. Later maybe in Vietnam, Malaysia or Laos.
  11. Now sure what the best option is. You might want to considera a trip to Cambodia to apply for a non-o visa based upon marriage at the embassy in Phnom Penh. I aware of person that recently done it during a 5 day trip out of the country.
  12. There has been mixed reports and interpretation of the the 72 hours. Probably best to apply for a new Thailand Pass to avoid problems. It will be accepted.
  13. You will have to apply for a new Thailand Pass unless the change is less than 72 hours. See: https://medium.com/thailand-pass/can-i-change-my-flight-post-approval-72bf360325dd
  14. Not sure about Singapore being open. I am aware of a person that did a trip to Cambodia and back for a new non-o visa. It doesn't matter where you travel to you will have to get a Thailand Pass to enter the country. Have a look at the site for them, https://tp.consular.go.th/ You will need a RT-PCR test to re-enter the country.
  15. You just posted on your topic.
  16. After you stop working your extension so stay based upon working is no longer valid and you need to have it canceled. If you could qualify for another type of extension you could do that. You cannot change to a tourist visa without leaving the country.
  17. No It is a multiple entry visa that allows a new one year permit to stay every time it is used to enter the country.
  18. In normal times that is correct. But now with the need to get a Thailand Pass to enter you must have a valid Thai passport or a emergency travel document.
  19. If you apply before March 25th you can get another 60 day covid 19 extension as well.
  20. And you are living within the region of the US that the LA Consulate is responsible for.
  21. At this time a valid passport or a emergency travel is needed tor a Thai to travel to here to get the required Thailand Pass to enter the country. They can enter on a non Thai passport but they have to have insurance and etc.
