  1. He he has a 15 day entry from a VOA he will have to leave the country before his current extension ends. A visa on arrival normally cannot be extended for any length of time or change to a non immigrant visa.
  2. If you have proof you are leaving the country they will do the extension earlier than 30 days. I am sure they would not do it on the day the non-o visa is issued.
  3. If you through the steps here you will find everything you need. https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports
  4. The $50,000 US insurance is required for all entries unless you are a Thai. If you had a valid OA visa you issued since October of last year you would need the 3 million baht insurance for one issued before that day it would be the 40/400k baht insurance.
  5. That is the form you will use. Download: TM87 Application For Non Immigrant Visa76.15 kB · 682 downloads The TM86 is for entries with a tourist visa. They do not enforce 3 months rental agreement unless you have been in the country for a long time. You will not be asked for since you entered visa exempt and still staying in hotel.
  6. Many people have only needed the 40/400k baht insurance to apply for their extension of a OA visa since the new requirements came out. Immigration have not changed the requirements yet since it doe not concern them now. Perhaps show this info on the TGIA website. https://longstay.tgia.org/guidelineoa
  7. I think what you found on Facebook is wrong. I have seen nothing stating the extensions will be only for be 10 days. Perhaps they will be doing them for those that no longer qualify for the 60 day exension. At this time it appears the extension is only for those entered the country visa exempt or on a tourist visa.
  8. You only need the current $50,000 US medical insurance required for all entries to the country at this time.
  9. You will be applying for a extension of stay based upon retirement of the stay a OA visa allowed not a renewal of a OA visa. Until September 1st of this year you will need the same 40k baht outpatient insurance and 400k baht of inpatient coverage.
  10. Applying for a non-o visa or one year extension of stay based upon retirement the medical insurance is not required. After getting the extension of stay no insurance is required other that than the insurance now required for all entries to the country.
  11. You can apply for the non-o visa at any office but it has to be done at the designated office for where you are living. You can apply at Jomtien immigration. Requirements are here. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8-1.pdf
  12. The guarantee letter wording is not exactly correct. It is just letter stating you account is valid and in your name. Example here in Thai. bank letter.pdf Any breach of you bank can do the credit advise and letter. Doing at the branch where you account was opened is the best option. Since you will be arriving in the country shortly before you apply for the visa they will not want the 3 months of receipts for the condo. You will only need proof you own your condo such a the chanote for it. You can draw a map to your condo from the nearest main road or intersection. You could use a Google map and mark the location of your condo on it. They may also want you to submit a completed TM30 form to report your arrival at your residence.
  13. It appears to be an error on their site. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail Perhaps try contacting them about the insurance. For the other companies you need to be sure you tell them you only need the insurance for entry to the country. I am sure their are companies doing the short term insurance for those over 75.
  14. Same site you posted a link to before. https://tp.consular.go.th/ Info for sandbox is on page 2.
  15. You have another topic with some replies in it that will help you. Please continue the discussion there. This topic now
  16. You will need a credit advisee from your bank here to to confirm the 800k was transferred from abroad. The letter from you bank is a confirmation your account is valid and the amount in on the day it is written. List of requirements for the non-o visa application is here. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8-1.pdf You will use a TM87 form to apply to the visa.
  17. You cannot apply for a new visa while in the country. That can only be done if you entered on a visa exempt or tourist visa. You may be able to apply for an extension of stay based upon on attending a school.
  18. You permit to stay in the country is from a non-ed (there no non-o ed visa. You current extension is due to covid 19.
  19. Thye close a 4:30. You would need to there early enough to what you need to do but they normally work until everybody is finished.
