  1. For a 60 day extension to visit your wife you will need copies of your marriage certificate and possibley a recent printout of your Kor Ror 2 marriage registry from a Amphoe. Copies her ID card and house book registry. You wife will need to be with you when your apply. No need for any financial proof. Copies of your passport photo page, visa, arrival stamp and TM6 departure card.
  2. He is asking about the insurance for a OA visa application.
  3. I am sure your current non-o visa has expired already. If you mean a extension of stay issued by immigration it will end when you leave the country without a re-entry permit. A single entry non-o visa only allows one 90 day entry to the country.
  4. If I recall correctly all the allowed Thai companies have a maximum age of 75 to issue the insurance. Check the companies here. https://longstay.tgia.org/home/companiesoa If your existing insurance covers you while here and it meets the 400k baht in patient requirement and the 40k baht outpatient requirement you can use it for the OA visa.
  5. I have not heard anything about it moving. There is nothing about it on the Bangkok immigration website or Facebook page.
  6. Not unless he is working for a BOI company or others that are allowed to use it.
  7. It can be any bank statement that shows at least 20k baht or $700 in it.
  8. It depends upon the embassy you apply at. Many will reject it if you do not have a return or onward ticket. You could search for onward ticket and get a temporary one for about $12 to use for the visa application to show a ticket out within 30 days to anywhere.
  9. You only need scanned to copies to upload on the e visa site. No need to mail anything to the embassy or one of the 3 official consulates. It is all done online and your visa emailed to you. See: https://thaievisa.go.th/
  10. You should be able to apply for it here at the Department of Public Health in KK. https://goo.gl/maps/i6yZzp1M61znHLFL8 That is where it is done in other provinces.
  11. It is 2 months (it is not 60 days) on the day you apply for your extension of stay based upon marriage. If the 400k baht has been in the bank for 2 months or more you can update you bank book on the day you apply for the extension.
  12. A 90 day report does not extend your stay in the country. It is only a report of staying longer than 90 days in the country. All the same but for the home visit. Normally at most office a home visit is only done for the 1st extension. If your extension expires while out of the country it would be be best to a apply for new non-o visa the Thai embassy or on of the official consulate in the US. You would do the application online and they will then send a email with your stickerless visa that are doing now. You could apply for a new non-o visa at immigration if you enter with a tourist visa or visa exempt but that requires 2 trips to immigration and then the extension of stay.
  13. You cannot cancel your non-o visa. There is no 3 week extension you can apply of your current permit to stay (it is not a visa). If you the get the work permit application approval letter you could then cancel your current extension and the apply for a extension based upon working on the same day. As I wrote before you will note be changing from a non-o to a non-b. The only way to that is to leave and reenter the country with a new visa. More incorrect info.
  14. You can only apply for a 30 day extension of the 60 day entry from a tourist visa. If you want to stay longer than 90 days you could apply for a special tourist visa (STV) that allows a 90 day entry that can be extended twice for 920 days.
  15. If they do what have said they will be doing on November 1st their would no longer be a need for the sandbox if you are from one of the low risk countries. You could travel to anywhere after you have gotten a negative covid 19 test.
  16. I have not seen anything about it on the immigrations websites or their Facebook pages.
  17. The do not want proof of vaccination now other than for entry to the country and between some provinces. There is a already a written rule that exempts those with a reduced immune system. Getting a certificate from a doctor about your condition stating you should not get vaccinated would waive any requirement for them,
  18. You can check here by entering the needed info to see if it is needed. https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/
  19. It depends upon your nationality. Those from some countries are required to have 6 months of passport validity to enter Thailand. Most people that qualify for a visa exempt entry only need 6 months of validity.
  20. Just found out they sneaked in a change to it to 22nd from the 25th. Immigration and banks will be closed on the 22nd. I updated the holiday list. https://aseannow.com/topic/1197260-thai-holidays-2021/
  21. For 1,2,4 and 5 the answer is yes. 3. At this time you would need covid 19 insurance valid to the day your re-entry permit expires in March of 2022. Site for it is here: https://covid19.tgia.org/
  22. The last time I looked at the bank holiday list it was still the 25th. It would be good if they put the date they changed it. I normally watch for holidays to be changed by the cabinet. Will now update my list of holidays.
