  1. Immigration does not normally check for a ticket out within 30 days. But the airline you are flying on can ask for it and many depmand it. Thirty days of covid 19 insurance would be enough for a 30 day visa exempt entry.
  2. There is no minimum number of days you have to be in the country you are traveling from. There was one before if traveling to a sandbox but that has been dropped since those from any country can enter for the sandbox now.
  3. It does if the photo is the correct size and type. Apparently your photo had a green background. Perhaps try again and resize the photo to fit the frame that comes up when you upload a file.
  4. I certainly would not change anything until it is clear as to what will be required on November 1st. I think they may let those that are vaccinated to leave quarantine if they have a negative covid 19 test. Whether they would refund the remaining days is another question.
  5. But many embassies and official consulates want to see ticket out of the country within 60 days. They certainly would not deny a tourist visa for having one that is less than 30 days.
  6. But for the past year and a half it would almost be worthless unless a person plans of traveling home and back again during the 6 months it is valid. It is not a easy border hop for a new entry anymore.
  7. Have you ever applied for a extension based upon marriage? I have applied for 14 of them and have not found it not to be all that difficult. Same paperwork and etc every year. I think most people that say they needed more paperwork than before forgot something they had submitted before. There is a lot of false info about getting that goes around and it is many times it is spread by somebody that has never done one. Just hearsay and 2nd hand info.
  8. The covid 19 insurance only needs to valid to the date you will be stamped into the country when entering the country. Which will be January 17th of 2022 in your case. Your return flight date means nothing at this time.
  9. Financial proof is a standard requirement. From the embassy website I posted a link to earlier. "UK/Irish bank statements with sufficient fund to cover your trip to Thailand" The 5k GBP is a little over 200,000k baht that is one of the requirements for a METV so they may be using that as a requirement. On the embassy in the US it only shows the equivalent of 20k baht that is a standard requirement for visa applications and entry to the country.
  10. It is not possible to change non immigrant visa categories. He changed his extension from attending a school to marriage which is perfectly legit.
  11. I have seen a report for Muang Thong Thani for a short term extension and he said there were very few people there. Ninety day reports are also done there. I don't recall any for Chaeng Wattana.
  12. Did you miss the first line in my post. It has to be in the bank for 2 months on the day he applies for the extension. That depends upon the office where they apply. The rules state it can be 2 months from the day of retirement which is bit confusing. Basically it means if they just arrived in the country for the first time or had not been in the country for a long time it can be possible. An example is when people have been staying here on a multiple entry non-o visa. In that case immigration wants to see the 12 months of transfers. Same for when that been staying here on tourist visas and etc. Your friend from Canada could use a statutory declaration from the embassy to prove the 65k baht income.
  13. You can only apply for a certain non immigrant visas that allow a 90 day permit to stay at immigration. And then you can apply for a one year or a 90 day extension dependent upon the reason for your extension. List of the non immigrant visas they can issue is here. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/issuing-and-changing-type-of-visa/
  14. You will need their birth certificates for them to apply for a extension of stay (it is not a visa)for being a member of your family that will end when your permit to stay ends in February. You will need copies of their passport photo pages, visa, current permit to stay stamp, arrival stamp and TM6 departure cards. Copies of your passport photo page, visa, permit to stay stamp, arrival stamp and TM6 departure card. You wife will not need to be with you unless she getting a extension as well. Dependent upon the office you apply at and their age your children may need to be with you.
  15. When you return on the report back date on the under consideration stamp you will get a one year extension of stay stamp dated to end on October 31st of 2022.
  16. It only appears to be a problem at certain offices. It appears some are using a newer system. I had no problem doing a online report in September after applying for a new extension in August. I get auto approval of my reports after submitting page 2.
  17. No That was a reply about it being needed for to apply for extension of stay at Yes unless they change things before your trip..
  18. The CAAT announcement shown on the page you linked states the same thing. See: https://www.caat.or.th/en/archives/56377 They could get 30 day of covid 19 insurance if they do not have any insurance that covers it. See: https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail
  19. The card will be accepted by the embassy or official consulate you apply for the COE at.
  20. How is that related to what I wrote. I was giving him advice on a visa and extensions of stay that is what this forum is for. This is not the correct forum for most of what wrote about.
  21. You will need to apply for your certificate of entry in Denmark. They will not issued one with a one week layover during your trip to here. You will also need to covid 19 test in Denmark 72 hours before you leave, The 21 day requirement has been done away with since they started allowing those from all countries to go into the sandbox.
  22. That is not really that important. You only have to be married to your child mother to be the legitimate father of you child. Even getting married after their birth makes you the legal parent of your child.
