  1. VFS has never mailed them. I think the reason they cannot mail them is that they have to have your old passport to cancel it before handing over the new one. When they were mailed was when they mailed them from either Hong Kong or the UK.
  2. This site offers insurance up to the age of 99 and it is the same cost for all ages. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail
  3. In normal times that is correct. But at this time a certificate of entry (COE) is required and that cannot be issued with a expired Thai passport. That is why embassies and official Thai consulate are issuing a emergency travel document (aka emergency passport). If she gets a COE with her UK passport she will have to use it to enter the country. Did you read my earlier post where I posted a link with instructions for applying for a emergency passport by mail.
  4. That would of been the $100,000 covid 19 insurance coverage required for all entries to the country. He was writing about the 40/400k baht medical insurance required for Non-OA and Non-OX visas that is now temporarily required when applying for a non-o visa based upon retirement at a embassy or official consulate.
  5. Do you mean posting a new topic when on the main page of the forum. If you do that you will get this after clicking start new topic. If you do it on the forum you want the start the topic you do not get that when you click this in top right side if the forum.
  6. You got a under consideration stamp with a report back date 14 days later. The extension has to approved at the division level of immigration. When you return you will get the 60 day extension stamp.
  7. Not at this time. It is taking much longer now. The application page on the website for passport applications now states 11 weeks.
  8. They would be doing a under consideration stamp with a report back date on it to get your extension stamp. You do not have a visa.
  9. I suggest you contact the embassy or consulate you applied to about it. They might do the stickerless one.
  10. The website for UK passports applied for here states 11 weeks to get it. But it may be less than that.
  11. That is not required for a non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai. It is only needed for one based upon retirement. My suggestion is to apply for the non-o visa online to the embassy in London. It is easy to get one based upon marriage. Only about the equivalent of 20k baht in the bank is needed to apply. That way you would have more time to open a Bank account here. You will need 400k baht in a Thai for 2 months or proof of at least 2 months of transfers of at least 40k baht from abroad.
  12. Most immigration offices will not transfer the stamps from one passport to another unless the passport the stamps are in has been canceled. They will also want a letter from the UK embassy requesting the transfer. Immigration will transfer a re-entry permit it the office doing the transfer issued it..
  13. I you sure there are flights that could be arranged for transiting through the US. Or through Europe to here.
  14. Children under the age of 18 are exempt from the vaccination requirement. At this time they do not them for those under the age of 18.
  15. I depends upon the office where you apply for the extension. Some do them from the day you apply and others when your current permit to stay ends.
  16. You are correct but immigration in Pattaya may not want you do the report.
  17. You could try to apply early. Keep on this forum for any update about it being extended for another 60 days. I expect it be done this week.
  18. A certificate of entry of entry is required. The application is done here online. https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/ The required documents are shown on the page in Thai. There are some designated border crossings where Thai's can enter on certains dates. Best to contact the embassy in Kuala Lumpur to arrange the entry. https://kualalumpur.thaiembassy.org/th/index
  19. You could apply on the 27th. But best to do it earlier if possible.
  20. Your planed application date is correct since it should give you plenty of time to get your new passport before June of 2023.
  21. It appears it will be for all embassies using the E-visa site since the site is being changed for the stickerless system on September 23rd. Soruce: https://thaiembdc.org/visas/
  22. Annouced yesterday here on immigration website. https://www.immigration.go.th/read?content_id=5edc60af57d4c11ca4f2ae14 Fournd this URL on CM immigration site. https://cmimm.net/ Clicked request for appointment form and it worked.
