  1. You will need 800k baht in you name only at a Thai bank for 2 months on the day you apply. You will need one year of medical insurance from a Thai company to apply for the extension. Immigration will not accept insurance from a foreign company. Look here for the required insurance. https://longstay.tgia.org/home/companiesoa LMG insurance offers a large deductible for the insurance that reduces the cost substantially. If you were able to leave and re-enter prior to you OA visa expires you would get a new one year entry if you have one year of medical coverage.
  2. Guardian is not the correct word to use when applying for visas at a embassy or consulate or apply for certificate of entry. Which of the categories I mentioned in my post. Are they the parent of a Thai? Do they have a member of their family that is on a extension of stay and etc? These are the categories to select for a COE application. Look there to see which one he can use. Source: https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/regis/index?checkconfirm=true
  3. As said the $100,000 covid 19 insurance has to be valid for the length of stay you get when entering the country. For a non-o visa it is 90 days. For a visa exempt entry it is at least 45 days at this time. The insurance can be applied for here or form a company that provides it. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail
  4. A guardian visa does not exist. There are visas for being a family member of a person on a long term extension of stay and a Thai national. There are also visas for being the spouse or a parent of a Thai.
  5. If tested positive for covid 19 and was asymptotic you could show the 30 day policy to cover that part of your treatment.
  6. Certainly not the same situation. A COE can be applied for at any embassy that is in their origin country for their travel or one that is responsible for the country they are in.
  7. A work permit is no longer required for those working as volunteers. Some immigration offices may say it is required but most work permit offices will not issue them.
  8. No There is no nationwide appointment system. It is done by individual offices.
  9. Why are going to Udon for your extension. There is a immigration office in Loei. No. 32 Moo 2 Chai Khong Road, Chiang Khan Subdistrict, Chiang Khan District, Loei 42110 Email : [email protected] Tel : 042821284 Fax : 042821911 You can complete this form to show at check points if needed. https://covid-19.in.th/en
  10. A few odd offices do not allow them or online reporting. As far as I know Khon Kaen allows them.
  11. Not all immigration offices are on it. And the address for Khon Kaen is wrong. They moved a few years ago. New location. Immigration in Khon Kaen Province New Bus Terminal, Mittraphap - Kut Kwang Road, Mueang Kao Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, 40000 Source: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=17326
  12. That is a new common problem. It means you local office did not update your your online report records when you did youf extension of stay.
  13. Only if applying for a non-o visa at a embassy or official consulate and it only needs to be valid for 90 days. Not needed to apply for a extension of stay.
  14. If you have a valid re-entry permit for a extension of stay that is extending a entry form a non-o visa based upon retirement the medical insurance and etc is not required. If applying for a new non-o visa the insurance is required.
  15. Which message did you get on the app. It will show more than the contact your local office does. It will inform you that you are outside the reporting window or on overstay. If you get the contact you local office on the app it means your record was not found which could be an error on page one.
  16. Your Thai Elite visas allows a one year permit to stay every time you enter the country and that is how long the covid 19 insurance would need to be valid for.
  17. To apply for the certificate of entry the $100,000 covid 19 insurance has to be valid for the length of stay you get when entering the country. If have other insurance to cover your more than 30 days you could get another policy to cover those first 30 days after your arrive to get the coverage for asymptomatic treatment. The insurance you can get here covers asymptomatic treatment. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail
  18. That code will be accepted. You will also need a one year bank statement showing the transfers. There is no written rule that states how much needs to be in the bank for the combination option. But some offices will set their own requirement. Having 400k baht in the bank is common number since that is the minimum amount to be kept in the bank after for 3 months of doing the application when showing 800k baht in the bank. You would need nothing from the embassy.
  19. You only need to upload your passport photo pagem, extension stamp and re-entry permit stamp. The Lumana insurance would be accepted if it meets $100,000 coverage. You need to check that they will pay for a non symptomatic infection treatment at a hospital.
  20. I think the majority of offices are accepting the combination option if you have 12 months of transfers from abroad to show. Many offices refused them for the first year transfers were allowed since people did not have 12 months of transfers.
  21. The covid 19 extensions are only for 60 days. With proof the transfers came from abroad you can apply for the one year extension when you have 12 months of transfer into the bank. If immigration questions you about applying for another covid 19 extension you could should show them you are doing the transfers so you can apply for the one year extension. If you have not gotten one since your last entry using your non-o visa you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife if they are not doing the covid 19 extension anymore.
  22. It states in the rules if you are considered a resident of Thailand the 21 days do not apply. I assume if you started your trip to Europe from Thailand the 21 days would not apply. This message come up when you select the Phuket sandbox on the COE application site. See number 2 under 1. Source: https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/images/Phuket-Sandbox-en.webp
  23. The only fee for immigration is the standard fee of 1900 baht for all extension of stay. What you pay the lawyer for is the stack of required documents needed to do the application for a extension of stay based upon working.
  24. Maybe somebody from Roi Et will give you a answer to your question. Most offices don't require witnesses when you apply and only want them when they do a home visit.
