  1. The crossings mentioned do not accept a e visa. See this list. https://www.evisa.gov.kh/information/port_entry/3 Only the Poi Pet and Cham Yeam (Koh Kong) crossing accept them.
  2. A Non-OA visa is only issued by a embassy for official consulate in your home country or a country that you have permanent residency in. Immigration will extend a entry from a OA visa that is based upon retirement.
  3. I have corrected my post. I left out part of what I meant to write. The correct terminology for a 60 day extension is to visit your Thai wife or child. Same for the one year extension. You could apply for the 60 day extension and then the one year extension. If you are still working you could do the change to a one year extension you could use your income from working if it is 40k baht or more.
  4. The rules state you report up to 7 days after the report date and it includes the report date in the count. From the immigration website. "4. The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires." Source: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666
  5. You could change your extension of stay to one based upon marriage or being the parent of a Thai. You could first apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife or child that does not require financial proof.
  6. It will be a non-r visa and then a extension of stay for studying Buddhism.. Edit: It be under this clause of the immigration order.
  7. I think the got visa exempt entry not a tourist visa from a embassy or consulate. They can apply for a 30 day extension and then a one year extension of stay based upon being a returning Thai national. Proof of their Thai nationality will be need. A birth certificate showing their mother is Thai will be accepted. Where was the child born? I assume they were born in the US. Their mother should register their birth at a Amphoe to get entered on a house book registry so they can get a Thai passport to use for their next entry to Thailand.
  8. Covid 19 insurance to enter the country has not been required for some time now. Same for the Thailand pass that replaced the COE.
  9. You need a vaccination certificate or a negative covid test to enter Laos. No proof is needed for entry to Thailand. You can get the Laso visa online if you want to. https://laoevisa.gov.la/index
  10. That is just error in how they wrote it. Just ignore " PLUS a monthly income". What you need if you are going to combine your income and funds going a bank account to the reach the 800k baht total. That is only a option since it is or statement.
  11. Not visa and extension related. Moved to the Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership forum.
  12. You could get another visa exempt entry at a border crossing as long as it you have already done 2 of them this year. I suggested a border run service to make it easier transport wise to a crossing. But they do make it much easier to do the crossing and can help to insure your don't have problems getting your new entry.
  13. YA copy of your wife's tambien ban registry (page 1 and the page she is registered on) and ID card is needed as one of the normal requirements for a extension based upon. No need to use your wifes sisters tambien ban or anything else related to her. You will need a rental agreement and copies of the owners tambien ban and ID card signed by them. You will need a map from the nearest main road or intersection to your residence. The address for you current residence will be put on the TM7 form. A re-entry permit is only needed if you plan on traveling and has nothing to do with your extension application. You will need to do a report of staying longer than 90 days in the country 90 days from the day you apply for the extension. Here is my general list of requirements for the extension application. Marriage Extension Requirements 2.pdf
  14. You could do a border hop a Ban Laem to get a 45 day visa exempt entry.
  15. For a one months stay there would be no reason to do a TM30 report since she will not be doing anything at immigration after getting a visa exempt entry.
  16. I am not familiar with that crossing. Are you sure your wrote it correctly? Which province is it in.
  17. I have done 4 of them since the embassy stopped doing the income affidavits in in December of 2018. I have my SSA payments sent to my Bangkok bank account via their New York and they all are shown as foreign transfers with a FTT code.
  18. When doing your report after a trip out the country you need to remember to put your new arrival date on the report.
  19. Yes You will need proof of your residence when you apply for the extension. Yes
  20. You only need proof of 20k baht being in the bank when you get the bank statement.
  21. If you qualify for a visa exempt entry you would get a 45 day entry now that can be extended for 30 days. Just border run is needed to do it.
