Getting my degree legalized?
ubonjoe replied to USslugga's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Have you tried contacting a translation service since that is part of their business. They will do it for you. -
There is no combination option for extension based upon marriage. It is 400k baht in the bank for 2 months or proof of 40k baht income.

ubonjoe replied to Billpro785's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Having a expired visa or extension of stay will not affect you being able to get a 30 day visa exempt entry. -
Don't THEY have the holiday calendar at hand?
ubonjoe replied to KhunBENQ's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It will not be a problem after the 15th since the under consideration stamp allows you to stay until the visa application is approved. -
That means that the account for the website has been suspended.

The extensions are approved by the division level of immigration that the office where you apply is under. For the northern region of Thailand it is Division 5 headquared in Chiang Mai. Only those done in the central region are sent is Division 3 in Bangkok or those applied for in Bangkok at Chaeng Wattana are sent to Division 1. The others are division 4 (Koen Kaen) for the northeast and division 6 (Hat Yai) in the south.

The problem is that many people mix up visas and extensions of stay. A visa is normally issued by a embassy or consulate and extensions are done at immigration. Immigration cannot change non immigrant visas categories. The only way to get a non-b visa while in the country requires you to of entered the country visa exempt or a tourist visa.

If she entered with a on-o visa she could apply for a extension for being a member of your family after you get your extension of stay based upon teaching.

Many offices will want some of the fields shown as not being a required entry. Best to complete them to be on the safe side. If you look at the TM47 they send you it still shows some of the fields marked as not required on the application. After the first one you can use autofill so you only need to complete your passport number, select you nationality and then click this .

Yes but you still need documents from the ministry of education. If teaching at a university it may be easier.

It is possible to apply for a non-b visa for teaching but getting all the required documents can be a problem. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/2.FOR-WORKING-AS-TEACHER-NON-B.pdf I suspect the school you were teaching at before did not want to deal with all the paperwork needed.

You cannot change non immigrant visa categories without leaving the country. You could change reason for your extension of stay from attending a school to one for working or teaching but the problem is getting a work permit application accepted to get a work permit application approval letter needed to apply for the extension.

No There is no rule that states that for a under consideration period. -
Onward flight - throw away tickets
ubonjoe replied to nerjaron's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That could be done. The best way would be to enter with a non-o visa, open a Thai bank account and transfer in the equivalent of 400k baht or more into it. Then when the 400k baht has been in the bank for 2 months you could apply for a one year extension based on marriage to a Thai. -

Sorry I missed the crossing at "Cham Yeam (Koh Kong)" in Trat shown on the web page I posted a link to. The e visa is available there. -

Not unusual for them to do the report back date on holidays and weekends. You could try on the 11th or wait until Monday the 15th. The under consideration stamp allows you to stay in the country until your application is approved. The report back date is just that and is not the end of the under consideration period.
