I don't recall any posts of somebody being asked for a TM6 if they entered on or after July 2nd. I think the order canceling them temporarily as been sent to all offices by now.

You will be applying for non-o visa based upon marriage. No insurance is required for it. A Non-OA visa is only for retirement and it can only be issued in you home country or country of legal residence.

How about this from a embassy website. "Travelers entering Thailand under the Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme must possess adequate cash of or equivalent to 20,000 Baht per person or 40,000 Baht per family." Source: https://thaiembdc.org/visaexemption/ I have read many posts over the years of people being told cash only.

For a Non-OA visa application done at a embassy or official consulate the new insurance requirements went into effect on October 1st of 2021.

Immigration/Police orders are not normally published in the Royal Gazette since they are under a existing ministerial order. I just looked at immigration website and there is nothing showing a new order. October 1st is certainly not correct. The order that came out last year stated September 1st. -

Nothing wrong with showing both passport since both countries allow dual nationalities. Same for leaving Thailand to prove they do not need a visa for the US. -

There is no difference. They are the same and correct wording is a visa exempt entry. There is no limit for visa exempt entries by air. By land they are limited to 2 per calendar year. You can extend a 30 day visa exempt entry for a 30 days at a immigration office. -

When checking in for the flight to here you show both of your child's passports to prove they do not need a visa or onward to enter Thailand. -
Only 90 days of medical insurance is required to apply for a non-o visa for retirement at some embassies and official consulates. Immigration will not check for insurance when entering the country since there is no requirement to have it. Do you plan on applying for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement at immigration? You can enter visa exempt and apply for the non-o visa at immigration and no insurance would be required.

There is no minimum amount of time you need to be in the country to apply for a extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon retirement or for any other category of extension.

90 day reporting online - more questions

I did A online report last month with my new passport number on it. Approved in a bit over one hour. I did it the morning I was going to immigration to have my stamps transferred. I printed out the TM47 for the online report to show them when I did the report but trashed it after I got the approval. -
Covid 19 insurance is not required for entry to the country.

The TM6 number is not required for 90 day online report. You cannot give them a TM6 number if you do not have one. Ignore the 90 day report reminder and count 90 days from the day you entered the country and be sure you put your new arrival date when you do the report.

They are still using them at land border crossings. By air they do not do them any more.

The only effect is confusion if you don't ignore the email. Whey do the report within the 10 days reporting window for doing the report 90 day from the day you enter the country. When doing the report you would put your new arrival date here when doing the report. That date will then be on the new TM47 form and immigration will count the 90 days from that day.l

No more email notifications since 10 days and counting

They may not of finished the email notifications yet. I have not gotten emails for some messages I was sent today. -
As I wrote before entering the country does not change the date your report is due in the online system. You can ignore the notification email if you have entered the country since you last report.l You did a report that was not due yet.

Why? Did you change your arrival date on the 90 day report site? It should of been denied it you did change it.

If you already did a 90 day report that was not required it would be that day if that is 90 days from the day you did the report

You do not qualify for a 60 day covid 19 extension since you entered the country using a non immigrant visa (aka non-o). Only those that entered visa exempt or with a tourist visa qualify for one.

It is a report of staying longer that 90 days in the country. No report is due unless you are in the country for 90 days. Read the title of this page on the immigration website. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666 On the day you leave the country the 90 day count for reporting is reset to zero.
