ubonjoe replied to les1's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They were changed in March of 2019. There was amendment to clause 2.22 of immigration order 327/2557. That change is here. Police Order 35/2562 Changing 327/2557 Clause 2.22 -
I am not aware of one. Ask which crossing you want to use and somebody will able to confirm which one. For Laos all the major crossing are open. Vientiane, Nakhon Phanom, Savannakhet, Chong Mec, Loie and Chiang Rai. Cambodia about all the major crossing. Poi Pet, Ban Laem, Ban Pakard, Cham Yeam (Trat). Chong Chom (Surin) and the one in Sisaket. Malaysia all the crossings normally used for border runs are open.

Chances of being denied entry at DMK?
ubonjoe replied to uyenlaam's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think it is a bit much to compare which airports to use based upon what was happening before 2020 when covid 19 started. There has not been a enough reports of people being denied entry since the country opened up a few months ago. I think I have heard of 2 cases and they were short on info. -

ubonjoe replied to Privateer's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think you will have to meet the new requirements to extend a extension that ends on or after September 1st. We will not know much more until immigration does a amendment to the immigration order stating what is required. -

The 800k baht must be in Thai bank for 2 months on the day you apply. Edit: UOB has branches here in Thailand and is registered here. Since you have a account in Singapore it should be easy to open an account here. See: https://www.uob.co.th/default-en/index.page

ubonjoe replied to chilly07's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I have not used the mobile app since the new reporting site became available. I have found it easier to use than the app. -
It would help if you could provide a link to the topic. it is possible that the topic has been hidden so it cannot be seen by anybody but moderators or admin.

Chances of being denied entry at DMK?
ubonjoe replied to uyenlaam's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
1. No It helps you will of been outside the country for 3 weeks. 2. Nothing 3. A oward ticket is not required if you have a valid visa for entry. I don't think you will be questioned. Why can't the school provide you with the required documents to apply for a non-ed visa at a embassy or official consulate before returning?
