    The 90 days you got from a non-o visa would remain valid. If on a extension of stay based upon marriage you would have to cancel it on the day your divorce is final. I you could qualify for a another type of extension you could change from marriage to it. If 50 or over you could apply for one based upon retirement. If not and found a job you could change to one based upon working. You could enrol school and extend for that reason.

    You get a single re-entry permit (1000 baht) to keep the remainder of the 90 day permit to stay you got from your non-o visa valid.

    Not sure why you think it is strange. I have been in many countries that required a ID for many things. Here it is passport instead of a ID card that Thais have. If you had a Thai drivers license that would probably be accepted in some cases. Also you wrote to buy a train ticket. It seems you are writing about getting a ticket for the BTS or MRT. I have seen Thias having to show their ID card for a train ticket.

    To apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension she would have to apply for the normal 30 day extension allowed for a visa exempt entry before doing it.

    It not unusual for some form of ID being needed to to do something in most countries. Try boarding a flight without a ID of some kind. Here Thais would have a ID card to show instead of a passport.

    Apparently the OP's bank book did not show all of the transactions for 12 months when applying for the extension.

    You only need proof the funds came from abroad if using the 65k baht income option proven by transfers into the country. If using the 800k baht in the bank option it there is not requirement to prove they came from abroad for a extension of stay application.

    Before going to Bali for a tourist visa you will need to confirm the honorary consulate is still open. Most of them around the world have been closed.

    The 5000 number is an error or he selected a multiple entry tourist visa (METV). For single entry tourist visa (SETV) only the equivalent of 20k baht is needed.

    If you are not in the country a 90 day report not needed it you apply for your first extension of stay until 90 days from the day you apply for it. If your wife does a TM30 report another one is not required unless you change addresses or enter the country with a new visa.

    That is strange. I think it might of been a mistake done by USPS. I have been sending mine by registered email for a long time now. Never has one returned.

    They should since it is about the same as the one you order from the bank. The only big difference is that is not in color. It even has a line at the bottom that states this line in Thai that I have translated to English (google translate) "This document prepared by computer system which is deemed to be in full effect without having to sign Page/Page 1 / 2" The one you get from the bank is not signed and stamped.

    You can have a statement emailed to you if using Bangkok Bank's mobile app. Select accounts and then the account you want the statement for and then click the 3 dots at the top of the page. You will then be able to select getting a statement.

    I assume you are applying for a e visa. If you got the e visa while in the country you would lose some it's one year validity is the only thing that could happen. Immigration would not know you have one until you use it for entry.

    You should not have a problem doing that. In reality there is no written rule limiting your stay to 6 months as a tourist.

    I wrote my post that way since not everybody is from the UK or a country that does no issue them. It is written in immigration order that 2 or 3 transfers can be used for the first extension of stay application but many officed will not insist you have a year of transfers. The combination of income and money in the bank is possible.

    Yes both countries are limited to 2 visa exempt entries at a land border crossing per calendar year.
