Asked specifically whether the extension apply to one-year visas, he said, “Yes, the extension applies to all visa types.”
It is still as clear as mud
there are people here on 12 month visas but they are not on 12 month extensions of stay which is entirely different and is not technically a visa
so for e.g. - if my 12 month extension of stay based on retirement expires on the 10th of May can I delay renewal until 31st of July - according to the exact text in the OP a 12 month extension of stay based on retirement is not a visa and there fore does not apply

sea salt is much sought after because there is a world shortage lol
Thai sea salt contains special ingredients lol
Oh and while we're on the subject - how are sewage treatment projects coming along - that salt must be very healthy full of minerals and ripe bacteria

it is the government that is responsible for this but as usual they keep passing it on to someone else

Tried that one too...same problem
use the pull down menus for all available and make sure you are entering the info asked for
last entry date is the last time you entered Thailand
permission until is the date your extension expires (date for renewal) get any of these wrong and it will be rejected

Suspect many of us have replaced IE with Edge. So will not be listed on start menu and have to type it in search.
I use Edge (latest version) but I also use IE and Chrome depending on what I am doing - they are useful for different things
IE is still there

Internet Explorer browser is still on his system if he were to look for it

correct - but they have no wish to do so as the super rich want to continue their overseas investments at the cost of international trade and in effect the the bulk of the Thai economy including tourism
this is all lip service only

Where he used to earn about B20,000 a month, enough to support himself, his wife and child, Thanathorn found himself without any income, but still with rent, motorcycle payments and car payments to pay, and needing to send money back home to Trang.

The rules about maximum numbers allowed and the parameters of social distancing have all been stated clearly in the original SoE and all the subsequent municipal and provincial governor's edicts. A crowd is a crowd is a crowd, regardless of the selfless philanthropy that allegedly caused it.
I was referring to special arrangements you must apply if you are giving out aid - as in the OP - informing authorities so they can assist in enforcing the rules (their responsibility)
smart (deleted)
He urged charities and individuals to tell the authorities about handouts so that they can help to ensure that social distancing is carried out and the events do not contribute to the spread of coronavirus.

perhaps he wasn't getting his demanded free handouts from the family business and didn't like the idea of actually working to support himself - sounds familiar
very troubled individual

Mine continues to require 90 day reports, refuses to accept them online and demands a bribe to submit them in person.
OMG That is quite shocking
the boss in that office might find himself in hot water over that with a possible inactive post for his efforts and stupidity

does he not know that people can be infected without symptoms - everyone seems to be aware of this except him
This is why temp screening is less than ideal - the only way to screen is to test - also generally accepted the world over

Makes sense.
yes it does make sense - but they should have made this clear from the start of the lockdown - so who is at fault

That should have been made clear to everyone from the start so that everyone was on the same page - hardly her fault and taking her to court is a bit harsh - maybe she will counter sue because she was not informed of this arrangement and neither was anyone else

Nothing was mentioned in the order done on the the 7th that has now being extended until July 31st about those on extension of stay expiring while out of the the country. Nothing has changed due the embergency. If you cannot be here to apply for the extension it is lost that is how it has always been.
and my point being - it doesn't really matter as the person has already completed the biggest part of "starting again" by the fact they left and re-entered so it really is no biggie - not much really changes except one extra step - getting the type O conversion at immigration
so in reality it matters little

If a one year extension of stay expires while a person is out of the country they will have to start all over again by getting a new non immigrant visa entry. The extension and its re-entry permit will be expired when they enter the country.
I didn't get that from the original order but hey I'm not going to start a whole debate over it as it matters very little to anyone affected - they can easily convert their "new" entry to a type O in country as they had already left and re-entered so no issue really

The issue of last entry is nonsense because if that was the limitation then in-person 90-day report would not be possible.
I do not believe there are separate databases.
I further believe that IB officials have no direct knowledge of how the software works and glibly perpetuate IB false propaganda because it is less work to deny a problem than to acknowledge and fix a problem.
speculation my friend - as nobody really knows the setup - we know that it didn't work and now it does ????
The fact that Joe's entry was way before 2014 is very likely "now" the reason he cannot do online reports and nothing to do with new passport
Time to move on with this - the message is out thanks to you, new passport holders can now do 90 day online reports without having to leave and re-enter the country

Agree with social distancing issue. But, police get involved? Xenophobia towards the migrants? Ridiculous way to approach this hunger problem.
That's not what I took from the OP
with proper controls in place provided by the authorities (as it is their responsibility) this is how it should be
One question though, why are these people not wearing masks ?, are they unaware of the rules or is it a supply issue, either way the local authorities need to address the issue

Johnson under fire over handling of coronavirus crisis
in World News
Posted
I listened the Adam Boulton on skynews earlier today
He interviewed some professor who was the chairman/representative of the "Independent Care home Organisation" or something, what Boulton fails to realise is that most Care Homes in the UK are privately run Independent Businesses and the owners make huge money, they have their own staff - training - standards - procurement - and are privately run, nothing to do with the NHS or the Government - they are private businesses
So if they have (deleted) up with their safety procedures and not maintained standards it has nothing to do with the Government or the NHS, it is all down to them - they are private companies
