The main point is that I see no advertising.
Brave has a different "Rewards" scheme which potentially is an interesting scenario to reward the sites you want but I don't use that either.
Getting old - about the only thing it looks like we will agree on
I use edge and see no adds

I decided edge is not worth the trouble if you have to muck around to download it, so settled for Brave not problem with download and a better site than edge or chrome.
I installed it without issue, no idea what you talking about with cell phone and codes, it was very painless
If you need to do the process again just use the still existing older version browser "explorer" which is still on your system
the new version of edge is an improvement as it allows extensions/addons

so since it is all going swimmingly then no need to ramp up the program - why would you need too

strong rumours that Thailand is about to do something similar and I will say it again - is there something they are not telling because the constant message is all under control and only ** infections of which ** are now cured - pretty much the same message for 12 weeks with little change

They should shut down all pubs, bars, nightlife, large busy night markets and I believe restaurants which often serve as bars anyway.
I don't think we're ready for quarantines yet but lets see how it turns out.
They should also round up all the street hookers repeatedly and maybe implement a curfew just to make sure the whole thing doesn't continue behind closed doors - as we all know it will.
This is going to be unpopular but vital if the numbers start to get out of hand.
I reckon we have no idea what the real numbers are but this guy will know them!
what are you goin on about - only 20 odd people remain infected in Thailand
right ?

please elaborate
anyone get the impression that actions being taken are not reflecting what we are being told - It's like his nose is getting longer and longer to the point were he has ordered arm extensions to pick it thinking nobody will notice
so right now all this for about 20 remaining cases in Thailand - really
nothing to see here move on all under control nudge nudge wink wink say no more

all this thread does is add to the stupidity that already exists
If there is a risk of going to IO then find a workaround were people don't need to attend
the mask argument is pretty well done and dusted

Weird they doing all these virus investigations here but why the results taking so long?
In my homecountry they got a special CT scan that tells u within 30 minutes if u have the virus or not !!
aren't you getting it, investigations in Thailand are one thing - results are something entirely different
I could go on and make an extremely huge contribution to this thread but in all honesty if you haven't got it by now you never will
I will give you a couple of lines
There is no real democracy here, everything is controlled and filtered by powerful people ............everything, yes even doctors, this is not the west were we have rules and a right to question
TVF is not hosted in Thailand

Reasonable comment, how about the possibility that the higher temp., say Thailand - limits the transfer of the virus external to the A/C areas from hand to hand to contact areas meaning less is transferred to A/C areas - - of course anyone already affected in any area has the potential to transfer the virus - but it would appear that the numbers affected are low - - - why?
are they low ?

A typical coronavirus survives about 30 times longer in 6 C than in 20 C. In 30 C is mere 1-2 hours at best. That would explain why Wuhan and northern Italy got so bad, 0-10 C typical temperature Jan-Mar. The virus survived on doorknobs, guard rails, public toilets and what not for days, instead of few hours.
experts in the UK quoted this virus can remain active over 90 hours on surfaces

Chinese tourists in Italy per year: around 2 million.
In Thailand: Over 10 million.
Thailand should be by now much worse than Italy. It is the hot&humid.
even if temp is somehow involved what about all the shopping centers - hotels - hospitals - airports - buses - mass transport etc that are all air conditioned and the most likely places for transmission ?

This is good for me to know as I am heading to the U.S. tomorrow via Japan and returning via the same transit in about ten days. Will prepare to "self isolate" at home for two weeks upon my return. Let's just keep it at that, though. So, no new restrictions, please. I just need the U.S. to not ban people coming in from Thailand or Japan in the next 48 hours.
confusing as it is I believe the new additional group of countries including UK and US have a different set of rules from the other group e.g. China

Does these mean for those that transit through S. Korea, this is a must if coming from say the United States. I am confused. In order to get the certificate of medical clearance it saysValid document for COVID-19 lab test. Now how in the hell is one supposed to get that if you can not get tested. Guess they just signed there end as an Airline (Korean Air).......
I believe it is Thailand enforcing this not Korea

The problem that worries me is the fact that people showing no symptoms can be spreading it
This is why it is important for authorities to be giving accurate information about numbers and locations
Right now it is assumed that Pattaya is virus free - right ?

That is why we are not seeing Thailand becoming a new Italy or any tropical countries suffering a major epidemic. There will be cases but not in huge numbers. Community spreading is much more difficult here due to climate.

But yesterday, in the news, some Thai public health official was talking about threatening the guy with a prosecution under the Computer Crimes Act for posting content online that could create public panic, harm to the country,
people on here keep making the point - why do we not hear (through social media) about all the sick Thais that most of us believe there are
the above pretty much answers that question
