If you can't handle traffic passing you on both sides on a multilane highway, please just don't drive here.  You are a danger to yourself and others

been driving here 15 years travelled almost 100,000km in Thailand and surrounding countries - in my home country I am a qualified driving instructor - never had an accident on a public road all my life and have done some motor sport in my time

This undertaking law in Thailand is very key to the carnage and mayhem seen on Thai roads - do I undertake ? yes - but I do it safely on a vehicle that allows me to own the road, some of the cam video I have seen and also what I have witnessed myself during my travels - the driving is quite horrendous, no surprise when Thailand is probably the worst in the world for road accidents and deaths - part of the problem is complete lack of law enforcement

yearly deaths on the roads in the UK are about 1800 and in Thailand it is almost twice that per month

Bus accidents in the UK maybe two a year worth reporting - Thailand - almost daily and those are the ones reported

and the 50 kids on his class room have "potentially" infected how many people .... we should prepare for a roller coaster ride

not to mention the airport and the plane he was on with other passengers who also arrived in Thailand and the transport he used from the airport - doesn't take long for the infection tree to multiply into hundreds

Who visited the bank and had contact with the son - who have they been in contact with - another infection tree

If someone comes at you with a knife, you defend yourself with your head? Personally, I would use my hands, and since the woman is the one with the hand injuries, she definitely seems to be the one who defended herself. How would you receive damage to your hands if you're holding the knife?

Blood causes the hands to slip down the knife and cause injury to the assailant,  common evidence to look for when investigating a knife attack

  4. Veterinarians at Nerb Plubwarn Animal Hospital Phadet Siridamrong told The Pattaya News “Rabies has been found in some areas in Bang Lamung which are Huay Yai, Takean Tai, Nong Plalai and Pong. If bitten by a strange animal we recommend to immediately go to a hospital for assistance.”

great now we have rabies in Pattaya

One should prepare for all eventualities which the truck driver clearly wasn't besides carrying people loose in the back. Its called defensive driving. The Jazz is just as much to blame as the truck driver. They crashed into each other.

There, see how easy it is to make a post without being critical of another poster.

some things are very difficult to prepare for - like this stupid woman changing lanes right in front of you - yes the truck driver maybe should have reduced speed (I would have) but that doesn't put him at fault in any way - she just pulled right across him without warning

The jazz was in that lane after a U-turn and traveling slowly waiting for a safe gap - she failed

I know that it seems insane but this is not the rule in Thailand. On a multi lane highway it is premitted to pass on the left (undertake) if traffic in the outer lane are moving more slowly.

no it isn't, the fact everyone does it doesn't mean it is right, there are conditions when overtaking (undertaking on the left actually) is allowed - this is one of them, the woman merged from a U-turn out of camera and stayed in the right lane waiting for a gap to cross the lanes - she didn't find one obviously and just pulled across in front of the truck - she caused the truck driver to take evasive action that he could not recover from ……………………………….she is 100% at fault here

you dont have sufficient data to state at what speed he was driving,

on a road with three lanes in one direction you can overtake as long

as you arent cutting someone else already in that lane,

    the truck made no error

thai traffic law prohibits overtaking on the left unless the vehicle on the right is turning right or has merged from e.g. a u-turn

I know it but we never sent each other bird names.:jap:

I cannot understand the members who have watched the video and who write that the driver of the vehicle ahead, the white car is at fault.

It must also be written that the title is false; the driver of the car never cut the road off the truck; this one has always been behind the car.

    Put yourself in it place;
you drive your vehicle, you want to turn left and all on a single two lane road.
Where do you stand to turn left?
at the limit of the white strip which delimits the two traffic lanes
and any vehicle arriving behind must let you do your maneuver and it is forbidden to overtake you on the left.

the white jazz just performed a U-turn out of camera then while still driving slowly pulled across the path of the truck

The road is not four-lane, damn!
It is a normal road with, on each side, a narrow lane for two wheels and agricultural vehicles.
If you want to turn left, you slow down on the only lane before doing so and wait until the vehicles coming in front of you are no longer there.

I repeat and buy you glasses if you see badly, the driver of the truck is 100% at fault.
He is behind, so he must adjust his speed according to a lot of criteria including, for example, a stationary obstacle in his lane.

Sure, and the same goes for flu season every year in any country. It doesn't mean that anything is a "conspiracy," or that "real numbers are being hidden." As some doctors say where I live, we are ALL going to get the virus, but the vast majority won't even know it; a tiny percentage will feel minor symptoms, and a tiny percentage will die, and most of them will be the sick and/or old, just like during any flu season, the difference being that FEWER will probably die from coronavirus than the number who die annually from the regular flu. American deaths this year already from the regular flu are thousands of times higher than American deaths from coronavirus. Same in Japan, which the media attempts to promote as coronavirus hell on earth, in second place only to China.

thanks for clearing that up - how long have you been in the medical profession

His wife is quite hot, is she really 67 years old?

I would have guessed mid 40s.

She looked way better than my Brit wife when she was 30 years old.

    As for the story ........

Looks like she attacked him with the knife, and cut her hands when the blood made the handle a bit slippery.

Always buy a knife with a crossguard, then your hand doesn't slip onto the blade when it gets wet!

everything you said is 100% correct, she has done this before if you read the article I posted above and no she is not 67 or his wife, she may have told those attending the scene this absolute pile on s h I t e in Thai and he had no idea what she was saying

this is a dangerous woman and needs to be avoided at all costs - how she is not banged up is beyond me, her previous stabbing victim refused to press charges

be very careful guys, keep a picture of this dangerous woman, she hangs about Newplaza I believe
