    Yes. I've just made a deposit to get back to the 800k , and they (krungsri) wanted my passport. Weird because a while ago they didn't even asked it for a withdraw. They look in the passport and type something in their computer , probably passport number. Another reason to avoid banks. Hope to cut it down to 3 visits a year , one to top up to 800k, one to get the papers for extention, then take everything out to just over 400k.

    For the folks that use swift , do you send euro/dollar/gbp to Thaibank , that will exchange it or , Do you exchange to baht in your country/your bank and send it in baht to your thai bank account ?
