Kids left on school vans: New RTP chief orders a crackdown
Xonax replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How difficult would it be to install emergency buttons in all school-vans, connected to a horn that will make a noise, if anyone press the button? -
There are many examples of people from 3rd world countries, who arrive on a plane without any money, as they are planning to work illegally in the destination country, for as long as the visa allows them to. After that they may continue to work illegally on overstay. Look no further than Chantaburi, where hundreds of africans are working in the gemstone business. A business which happens to be exempted from personal income tax and VAT payment in Thailand, in case you have ever wondered, why there are so many foreigners working in this business. Some of them most likely have staffs working here illegally on tourist visa's. You will probably be able to find other seasonal business here, that need workers for a shorter period of time, and happily employ people on tourist visas.

Search on for tourist wanted for illegal fishing in southern marine park
Xonax replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Meanwhile, the unidentified tourist has offered an apology via TikTok, saying that he did not know that fishing for parrot fish is illegal in Thailand because he had seen the fish being sold in the market. He said he is a professional spear-fisherman who has travelled the world and fished everywhere, adding that he had no clue that he could not fish in the marine park and that no one has ever told him that it is illegal to do so. He said he is deeply sorry and will not do it again. “Humans make mistakes,” he said. -
Life saving treatment should be performed for FREE for anyone in any hospital, without demanding a deposit or other financial guarantees. Please post here, if you know a "Go fund me" initiative for victims of this horrible incident. First of all, I would like to donate to this victim without free healthcare, but also some of the severely burned Thai nationals with free healthcare, could probably need a helping hand.

Thais will quickly turn any vacant land into a garbage dump. A soi in our local area has looked during the many years I have lived here. The piles of garbage are just getting higher and higher. Squatters are also occupying abandoned houses in the same soi. The RTP is often seen in the area, so the officials in charge will know all about this problem.
