  1. It's relevant to the topic as I was replying to another's post.
  2. I don't know where you get the idea I have a bromance with him. I couldn't care less what he does. I was merely pointing out he doesn't care what posters on here think. He's got lots of cash, always will have snd he will continue to live his rich life his way, because he can. Simple.
  3. He likely doesn't care. He's now only worth 140 billion. I bet he's really worried about that!!! He's more than likely laughing at those, like on here, gloating.
  4. Thanks for your acknowledgement of the rules. Finally. You now agree that UK would have had to bend the rules in order to have given the deal to a UK bidder. Thank you.
  5. Referendum or not, it will be up to EU whether UK rejoin or not. If all the doom and gloom is to believed about the state of UK, it's bound to be a resounding NO. Let's not bother asking. Let's just get on with getting better after the initial fall out. Brexiteers and remainers alike. We are all British. Let's just work at it and get things done.
  6. How amicable is your relationship with your soon to be ex wife? If she is willing to help, you could go to Savannakhet now and get a multi entry Non O based on marriage. By exiting every 90 days, a quick border crossing will suffice, you could continue living in Thailand for a further 15 months as a Non O visa is still valid after divorce. How long do you have on your current extention of stay? There might be an issue if it's a long time. Consulate in Savannakhet might wonder why you are switching. Other than that, it is a good option.
  7. Same as the poll that the remainers were all over because they liked it. I believe the sample was 1000. What's the population of UK? Anyway, you are 20% out.
  8. I'm more centrist. That makes your comment inane.
  9. Incorrect. You, and only you, made a suggestion as such. This is a forum. One cannot be called out on a forum.
  10. That's the best prediction I've made today. That is, you would not give direct answers to my questions. Excellent. Once again, I have not attempted to defend anyone.
  11. Excellent work. Please tell me what part of my post, the one you didn't like so criticised, was not based on facts. Let me help you a bit. Didn't he Scottish people vote to remain in UK? Did SNP increase their seats in the following elections? Thanks.
  12. So, now comparisons are not permitted. That is if you don't like them.
  13. You didn't refer to Scotland. I used Scotland as an example of differences between elections and independence or self determination voting result. Your feeling of superiority undermines you. Thanks for trying though.
  14. I did say the best place to start. The Scots voted to stay in the union but then SNP won most votes at the next election, yet some polls suggest they would vote remain again. Nice to see you are respecting poll results too. BTW, I'm not trying to defend anyone. I quoted a post and gave a suggestion. That is all.
  15. I would say the last vote for self determination would be the best place to start.
  16. Not at all. What it does show, to those who can think for themselves, is that personal experiences show that what we read may not be true to everyone. Polls have been mentioned on here many times. Some posters using them to try to prove a point. I did a poll of 5 EU citizens I work with. They all said Brexit was not an issue with them as they had the correct documentation and made the applications they needed to in plenty of time. So, what is so different? The polls are published and there is a link. Is there a link to each individual that was polled? NO. Do we know they said what the poll said? NO. Are polls to be believed? If they are then surely my poll should be too.
  17. I'm going to upset the purists that need links to everything and don't accept personal experiences here but, I've worked in two places in the last 3 years that are dominated by foreign workers. Only today I worked in a team of 8. 2 UK, 5 EU snd 1 Asian. Other teams in the same work place with similar ratios. The 5 EU citizens are amazed at how many others they know who left UK. They say the system for staying was very simple. What they did say is they knew quite a few of their community had left as they could not provide the correct paper work. Generally they were talking about P60. Proof of tax and NI payments. Having worked on a cash in hand basis.
  18. Right now there are issues that need to be sorted out. Negatives outweigh positives but, unfortunately, Brexit happened to coincide with a global pandemic and a war and these two occurances have impacted both the UK and EU's ability to get the issues sorted.
  19. The idea of Brexit is not over. It likely never will be, unless in the future UK rejoin. Hence it cannot be labeled a failure or a success in it's entirety The pole could have said "thus far" or "so far" on the end of each option. That would have made all options answerable.
  20. Not trying to change the rules. Just a little bit of grammar to make it possible to answer. That is all. I do hope you understand. Thanks anyway.
